The lux (symbol: lx) is the SI derived unit of illuminance and luminous emittance, measuring luminous flux per unit area. It is equal to one lumen per square metre.
The spread of the UTV309 is far superior to the generic light unit. Another major difference is that our light is fully screened to prevent radio and 2 way radio signal interference. Our lights also come fitted as standard with deutsch DT connectors making them plug and play with the help of our adapters.

On the left is a generic Oval shaped LED light which can be bought online or on some dealers shelves. On the right is our UTV309 Oval shaped LED light.
... Both of these feature 8 LED chips, produce a flood beam pattern and operate on 12v and 24v but that's where the similarities end.

A visual image posted by another led company in the USA but it clearly shows what happens to a low grade led light over time.
The hours are hours of use and this gradual decline in light output is something you may never realise is happening.
Incidentally cheap lights will never see 3000 hours let alone the 5000 hours shown here.
