Lovely salon, friendly and talented staff. I go every week for a blow dry and Chloe always does a great job. She also colours and cuts my hair just the way I like it. The other staff and the owner Lily are really really friendly. I always look forward to going. Highly recommend.

Loved my trip to VT. I really trust them with both my cut and colour. I’m not the best at attending a hairdressers regularly so asked for something uplifting but that was low maintenance and now I have a lovely balayage blonde long bob.



The thing I like the most is how comfortable I feel when I’m there, I don’t feel self conscious at all. Thanks ladies for making it such a lovely environment.

Just had my hair and nails done from this place and oh my it is the best place I’ve been to ! The staff are nice and the quality of what they do well I’m overwhelmed; the prices are really reasonable and it’s like being around friends!!

Had an absolutely wonderful wash, olaplex treatment, cut and finish today, the salon was clean, welcoming and very nicely decorated. The cut was brilliant and exactly what I wanted. I have always had long hair and so to get it cut into a long bob was nerve wracking but they’ve done such a great job I only wish I’d done it sooner! Couldn’t have been any better - thank you so so much. I will definitely be back!

Always love my trips to VT! <3 Hairdressers who actually listen to what style you want, but also use their expertise to politely explain if something might not suit your hair type. Stylish salon, friendly staff and most importantly, wonderful colour & cuts!

The shop is lovely and clean and the staff friendly, but my nails were filed too short (to the point that some hurt) and the three of the gel nails have chipped within 4 days. I contacted the shop who have told me I booked a reduced price deal with an apprentice and it’s part of the risk which is reflected in the price, this wasn’t made clear or even mentioned when I booked, I assumed the offer was a new year / new shop kind of offer. Shame.

I received a promotional email at midday offering a cheaper haircut for £21 if I booked a same day appointment so I booked one for 5.30. On my way I was delayed due to disruptions on the tram. I called to say I was going to be 20 mins late and to ask whether this was too late. I was politely told it was but I could pop in for a dry cut or I could reschedule for another day. The lady even said to me “aw sorry, this isn’t your fault! Just give us a call back when you’re ready to re-book.”

I came away disappointed but fully intending to reschedule. Later that evening I received an email saying I was being charged £35 for missing the appointment. When I called to query this I was told that it was my own fault because I didn’t cancel the appointment within 24 hours. Impossible when I booked it the same day - and I had no intention of cancelling, I couldn’t make it on time due to circumstances out of my control.

When I explained this I was told “we’re a business at the end of the day, people cancel all the time we’re sick of it”. I said I would have come in for the dry cut if someone had explained to me that I would otherwise be charged and was rudely told “before I buy ANYTHING I read the terms and conditions, we just assume our customers do too”.

I was really upset with the way I was being spoken to and felt completely cheated. When I suggested part of running a business is understanding how to balance making money with good customer service, I was told that sometimes they do provide some leeway but that they wouldn’t be giving any to me. I asked why not as this was clearly a situation where it should be allowed and I was bluntly told “bad things happen to people all the time”. At this point I was very teary on the phone as I felt I was being spoken to completely unfairly and when I said I felt justified in a leaving a negative review, she just sounded relieved to have me off the phone.

I have watched and read with interest the response to my daughters review of the service she received. I would not ordinarily get involved as Lucie is more than capable of responding to negativity herself. However what I can’t bare to read is the lies. Lucie rang before her allotted time for her £21 appointment to say the tram she was travelling on was delayed beyond her control. She has this telephone call logged in her mobile and I have suggested she screen shots it and posts if nothing else but to prove that the accusations against her are untrue. She actually spoke to a lovely lady at that point who said she couldn’t come later, but she could re book ... not a problem - correct response ... all good. However when Lucie rang to speak to the salon a second time - again the second call logged as well, she was spoken to in an unbelievably arrogant and rude manner. Not only did they speak to her like that they took £35 pounds out of her bank ... £14 more than the original quoted in the e mail she received. I can assure you my daughter is not a brat, far from it, she is a hard working young woman and quite frankly looking at some of the responses on here of name calling and being extremely nasty I’m proud of my daughter and feel sorry for the parents of the other responders who should be ashamed of their swearing and vile name calling and accusations. It really is just not the way a business should respond and yes I know how a business runs, I’ve run a successful business for the last 35 years. The manager should not have allowed this to escalate on her business page and she really should speak to the staff involved in the whole situation. It’s easy to keep your ‘happy’ customers happy .... the hardest part of a business is looking at complaints and responding appropriately. The very fact that the manager ( I believe Lily?) has said that no calls etc were made before appointment time and just didn’t turn up is untrue and can be proved by the mobile log record totally throws all the salons arguments into disrepute.

This has to be the worst hairdressers I have ever been to! Not only did I receive an unbelievably below standard haircut (uneven and very very poor layers) something you wouldnt expect even from an apprentice. They have ruined the texture of my hair with their colour, absolutely poor quality. I have had my hair tied up ever since my unfortunate experience.

For the money they charge it’s just not worth the risk!



The customer service is poor as they have no remorse for how you are unhappy with what you received, sure they offer you to come back to “fix it” but the damage is so bad I wouldn’t let them touch my hair ever again.



Its very busy so don’t expect a relaxing environment, it’s more like a nursery as there were more kids there than adults on my visit!
