After a great 10 years at 5/7 Henry Street, we closed the doors of Velvetine and Drunk Buffalo Club for the final time on Saturday 30th March 2019.
The sale of the venues allows us to focus on other ventures and new projects, and we’re delighted to sell to another local Fylde coast company, Marvin’s. We’ve worked with Alex since 2014 and built a great relationship and wish him and the whole Marvin's Lytham team the best of luck at the Henry street venue.
We would like to tak...e this opportunity to thank all our customers and staff, past and present, for their great loyalty and support at our establishments over the years. From the early days of Henry’s Bar & Grill to Drunk Buffalo Club and Velvetine, it has been a great journey.

What a fab cocktail bar! Had thier version of a PS Martini - bloody lovely! And thier version of Aperol spritz - delish! Will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends 👍🍸
Went to Velvetine tonight, the atmosphere was great and the bar man was super friendly!
Went in on Sunday evening and loved it. The decor is amazing and staff great. However, what's with the temperature of the bar?? The aircon was on ice cold!!
Very classy bar.. keeps to it's standards re dress code etc. Lovely place where you can get dressed up if you want to and drink nice cocktails which are reasonably priced considering the rates on Henry Street.
The great music played in here set this place off from the rest in Lytham. Reasonable prices and we had a good dance and sing. What more could you need on a night out.
Superb bar tried to get in with my Rangers footie top on and was politely asked to leave as no sports gear is allowed. So i ran home got changed and was welcomed with open arms with my help for heroes top on. Class establishment

My 20 year old son who works for six15 events told me about this place ...saying you'll love it mum it's very Great Gatsby!! And indeed it is ..a very clasy cocktail lounge...great decor...friendly efficient staff and a great atmosphere ...went on Lytham Club day so unable to sample the usual cocktails but even the Club Day special in a plastic glass was lush !!!
My 1st visit here with my boyfriend in the early hours of Monday morning 15/1/18. Not too busy so it was nice and relaxing, DJ playing good music. Drinks were a little expensive though. And the 2nd drinks order, although exactly the same, was 50p more. Haha.
Lovely place and beautifully fitted out. Great place to meet up with friends. Staff very friendly and drinks reasonably priced
Just popped in for a coffee on a Sunday afternoon - always good to try somewhere new instead of all the usual places !. Lovely place to sit and relax. Staff very welcoming and chatty - beautiful decor. I hope people will try it in the daytime as well as evening - highly recommended.
Will definately go again - but will try the cocktails next time �
Just left the velvetine, the bar man was really friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere was great, would recommend !
I went to Velvetine with my friend last weekend, although it was busy we were greeted straight away by one of the bartenders who told us he’d be with us in just a moment as he was busy. He made us two lovely cocktails and the service throughout the night continued in this way! The music was great fun and we will definitely be returning! �

For sticking to your dress policy and asking someone to leave who was wearing a RUGBY top (this is sports wear for those that can't comprehend) which coincidentally has a poppy on it!!
Five stars for keeping to their policies. Leave the house in a rugby shirt and cargo shorts then don’t expect to be let in.
Evening out the 1*s from people who think weaponising poppies and the rbl to get your own way is acceptable. The old boys understood dress codes.
Absolutely recommend, we were there on Sunday for the first time, tried the dirty mojito prepared by Alex, my cocktail was amazing, great service, lovely bar and decor will definitely be returning in the very near future.
Went in on Friday night as the place had been highly recommended to us. Let in and served no problem, we really liked the place, drinks were good, nice atmosphere etc so we decided to stay for another drink only to then be refused service (very rudely might I add) because my friend was 20 and not 21.... sorry but pretty sure the legal age to drink in the uk is 18... she had her ID to prove she was old enough to drink but apparently you have to be 21 to be served... age discrimination at its finest but never mind we wont go back as we took our custom across the road to mojitos who were more than happy to accommodate us. Sadly wont be recommending Velvetine.
