My name is Phyllis and I am the Practice Manager and Partner for you here at your local Vets4Pets. I have just spent the past hour listening to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons(RCVS) and British Veterinary Associations(BVA) Presidential update. Based on their address to our wider profession, I feel I must now reach out to you all to reassure you that we take our responsibility to keep you all safe extremely seriously. Without your health and that of my wonderful c...olleagues, we would have no service to offer. We must remember this every day and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind words to us recently, it means a lot to us.
We must continue to ensure that all decisions we make are made with client and colleague safety at its heart whilst balancing our commitment to putting your pets first by preserving their health and welfare.
We have been advised by our professional regulators and advisory boards to consider reintroducing some routine services, namely Vaccinations and Neutering - specifically where there is a justifiable risk to human health or where animal welfare may be severely impacted.
All decisions regarding those who are deemed eligible for some routine services will be based entirely on those specific principles, as long as we can reduce risk to you and our teams.
In short, “Just because we can doesn’t necessarily mean we should”.
To summarise, if we believe that the treatment delay could have animal health and welfare or public health implications if not carried out within 2 months, then we will go ahead ONLY if we feel confident that the risk to you, my teams and the wider public is not greater than if you would have stayed at home and done nothing. Please refer to the attachment provided as our guidance to what quantifies essential.

Opening hours over the Easter Weekend are -
