Was there yesterday early evening. Friendly staff, lovely food generally a lovely place to go with friends

Visited yesterday with my friend before going to see Simple Minds at The Albert Hall

We picked a super foods chicken salad off the menu, lovely fresh ingredients very taste and filling

Would definitely eat here again very reasonably priced too

We had a few drinks and chatted with a few of the staff who are so friendly and accommodating

After the concert we went back for a few more drinks as we felt it was a lovely friendly bar with a safe happy atmosphere

Never disappointed in a visit to Via we will be back � xxx

Seriously amazing bar was in Manchester for 5 days and was in this place every day. Staff were deadly friendly and music was amazing can’t wait to get back to it when I move over:-)

One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had in a long time. The menu said something along the lines of ‘don’t bother with a starter’, and it’s true! Plate piled high, delicious tasting chicken and great service from the staff. I shall be salivating until my return!

Love this bar, was made to feel very welcome, great value drinks and nice staff, couldn't do enough, and the best drag shows in town! Love it!! <3

Just have to say a massive big thks you to all the staff at Via, me and my partner had our wedding reception there last night the room was spectacular and they made myself and partner and our guests very welcome . The entertainment was second to none and wat can I say about the food they put on but absolutely fantastic, from the set off wen we first went to book the room to the day of our wedding the management and staff where impeccable hats off to you all you are credits to yourselves and the village.thks from myself and new husband xxx

I really enjoyed my grilled chicken club sandwich with bacon and avocado. It was really good value and excellent quality, something I picked off the new menu. Looks like that investment in the kitchen has really paid off. Very friendly and well mannered staff, especially Josh, who is most attentive. I ate at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. We got a window table, seems like a popular bar and cafe.

Hired the club downstairs for an event, and had THE best night! Big thumbs up to Gareth, Josh and manager Mike who went beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a good night! Thanks guys xx

Definitely ‘upped their game’ since we ate there last, food was better and great service, just a few small things to focus on, such as how to serve wine and brandy properly and not using dirty serviettes, definitely better value than before and the decor is much better now it’s been freshened up.

20 of us ate there yesterday, Sunday. Booked a few weeks ago. Called in and asked if we could make it 6pm not 5.30 as we wanted a drink on Canal St first and on arrival a lovely area was reserved for us. All of us had our food served at same time and all the food was fab. Lovely place we shall return......soon. x

Found one of the bar staff he looked and walked away from me not good he was trying to sing. But all the other pubs staff are so nice

Went here yesterday and the small skinny guy behind the bar was the rudest cunt I've ever met. The barrel had gone or something so he was running the line through into these plastic cups and they had dead big head. Then he grabbed a glass and basically started pouring this PINT OF HEAD out of the plastic cup and into the glass. I asked could he change it, because it was understandably flat, and he grabbed another glass and tapped it on top of the flat pint. It fizzed for about a second. At this I walked away because I was fucking mad. He then brought our cutlery over and I said "my friend's gone to the bar to get it changed because it's still flat" and he literally went off ("no it was not, did you see me pour that pint!?" blah blah blah) before storming to the bar to where my friend was stood. I don't know what was said after this but a nicer, more professional, member of staff clearly saw that it was flat and gladly changed it. It's a shame because the food was great (the waitress was really nice BTW) and I've always liked it in here.

Well- we tried to go in via but apparently a group of 7 on a tuesday night can't go in, gays and our family - Thanks!! You've lost regular visitors and quite a bit of money! Your loss #disappointed

I asked could he change it, because it was understandably flat, and he grabbed another glass and tapped it on top of the flat pint. It fizzed for about a second. At this I walked away because I was fucking mad. He then brought our cutlery over and I said "my friend's gone to the bar to get it changed because it's still flat" and he literally went off ("no it was not, did you see me pour that pint!?" blah blah blah) before storming to the bar to where my friend was stood. I don't know what was said after this but a nicer, more professional, member of staff clearly saw that it was flat and gladly changed it. It's a shame because the food was great (the waitress was really nice BTW) and I've always liked it in here.

Well- we tried to go in via but apparently a group of 7 on a tuesday night can't go in, gays and our family - Thanks!! You've lost regular visitors and quite a bit of money! Your loss #disappointed
