Waterfarm Fishery

Ste coyne book on for 36 hours starting this morning at 9 am think he more than happy with the out come with in the first 12 hours fishing and still 24 hours left carp from 11 lbs to 21.10lbs its great to start seeing people back on the bank after the cold gone we got some great new fish delivered over this winter so be some big lumps come out this year

This was a good day just doing the day session and lands this nice mirror 21.lbs this could be the future big fish of waterfarm in few years

Info up date has we all know bury council shut the bridge to cars back in September 2010 and they are now shutting the bridge full has from Friday 22nd so there will be no access from gigg lane no more I’m waiting on a meeting with the chief executive of bury council to try and get us access from roach bank road again but has normal this takes time and planning so has next Friday I do t know how we get access to the fishery

Good evening all just little up date on fish caught this week been a biz one with weather being warm the smallest carp out of Bernard’s lake was 7lb mirror and the biggest being 23 lbs total Caught on Bernard’s lake in last seven day was 36 carp out which this time of year I’m more than happy few photo that been sent to me and one of Steven with is little barble out of the kids pond while he had is daught stay with him while of school this past week keep up with use this coming weekend has we doing an open weekend Saturday and Sunday 10am till 230 pm there will be staff on site to help show u round and fill out membership forms

Well looks like the big girls are on the feed and john podmore in the right place at right time mirror was 16lbs and common was 22.7 some people have a great day fishing when everything in the right place

Steven Butterworth been out doing 48 hours on Bernard’s pond and I’d Daught been on kids pond think he more than happy with what he caught thanks for photos Ste see u again soon carp caught from 8lbs to 16lbs so the big girls still not been out some one going to have a good day fishing soon

great fisher decent bailiff has big plans not just a money maker for him but a hobby if u understand he has a good chat with u rather than just taking ur money and getting off

What a place the work that's been put in to this water .one days fishing and you will be back

What a place a fishery that the owner has passion about and is putting the work in fantastic place wont go any where else

So far so good 24 hours into a 48 I lost a carp in the night but the fishery is great. The owner has a passion for this place which is really motivating, very informative and gave me some tips which helped me get that run.



Cheaper than most fishery and has a better stock then any local fishery! Hopefully a carp will grace my cradle before I pack up but all round sound experience!

Really good place to fish, good stock me and a few of my mates went down there everyone's helpfull and a really good overall place to fish

Lot of work going on in the fishery all look awesome I've fished arthurs twice and it's a belting water can't fault it

It's a really nice place to come down and chill out with some of your mates had brilliant features and really nice carp to catch if you have the chance head down and catch some carp

It's a great fish had many out and a friendly place to be

Great place to relax and spend time with friends. It has excellent facilities onsite with great company

Great lake nice and friendly bunch do defo worth a fish

First visit to Waterfarm today, went with my brother who was fishing the feeder rod and he pulled in 9 or 10 fish and lost a few, I had my two carp rods out and lost a very big fish early on in the day ;( but didn't do much after that, but the lake has massive potential along with the venue, David the owner is doing a great job and building the fishery up will be back soon for the 27lb carp ;) and the many other big'ens

Did a 24hr on the friday only had 2 but is a very nice place to fish looks well looked after the bailifs are great people, great to talk too just seem happy and very welcoming and care about the place which is good, as most bailifs are moody and unwelcoming will deffo be coming back recommend this place to anyone.

Definitely worth a visit wether it be with friends or as a club meeting

Cracking night. Did a 24 hr last night pulled 9 nice looking carp ranging from 3lb to 15lb7oz (New PB) the pegs are great plenty of room clean and maintained, the lodge is well stocked and looked after. Will definitely be fishing here again shortly

Brilliant fishery and will be a lot better when finished can't wait to get back back

A nice way to relax after an hard day at work

Went up water farm and it was greagreat looking lake both of them.tthey was some work still being done but this is going to b one greagreat place to fish once all is finished.loads of nice fish and plans for more and the pal that runs it seem helpfull andas great plans for the lake

Its looking good after many changes and will look much better after the work as been completed.......



And there are facilities.......

First time here on Saturday just gone the method feader works brilliant and the carp go bonkers for the gòodies in it. 2 rods out and 3 times was in with 2 alarms going bonkers really good place and the owner is a nice chap will be back very soon
