Waverley Lodge will again be hosting an informal get together this summer to give non-masons an opportunity to find out more about who we are and what being a Mason is about!

Wow, what an evening! Bro. Benn Higginson was passed to the Second Degree (the next step in Freemasonry) in true Waverley Lodge fashion. We also enjoyed the company of visiting brethren from Lodge Of Minerva No. 300 and a good time was had by all. The Membership Officer, Bro. Brad Savidge also presented The Worshipful Master, WBro. Les Kay with his 25 year pin marking a quarter of a century within the craft and a good time was had by all at the festive board.
What can I say? East Lancashire Masons at their very best!

It was in our last summer break that this fine gentleman joined us for an event to learn a little bit about what Freemasonry is all about and after taking his first step into Freemasonry Bro. Benn is about to take his next step in what we hope will be a wonderful and memorable meeting before we head off for the summer sun!

Just over one month to go before the Waverley Lodge Ladies Evening. The Master, his good lady and all the Brethren look forward to seeing their friends and guests for what we are sure will be a wonderful, convivial evening!

Being that I run the page I’m going to be a little cheeky and share this post. Anyone wishing to donate, I have no doubt it will be humbly received and faithfully applied!

Congratulations to Bro. Rory Collins on Passing to the Second Degree. The Master and Brethren performed a wonderful ceremony and the evening was enjoyed by all.

As a Freemason, advancing your knowledge is something we all strive to do and for Bro. Collins, who has proven to be a wonderful edition to Waverley Lodge since he took his first steps, the time has come when this evening, he will be taking another step! The Brethren are prepared for the occasion and it will no doubt be another fantastic evening!

Waverley Lodge will once again be hosting our Ladies Evening on Saturday 18th May 2019.
Tickets are £30 p/person and with live entertainment, a good night is always guaranteed to be had by all!
Masons and non-Masons are welcome!

Congratulations to Bro Edwards-Jones on being raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. The Worshipful Master and his officers performed a wonderful ceremony and it was made all the more special as we were honoured to receive the APGM, our district chairman along with his colleagues from the district team and brethren who made the journey from the Kirkham area!
I’m sure Bro Edwards-Jones will remember this evening for a very long time to come.

After the weather stopped us in our tracks in January, tonight Bro Edwards-Jones will finally be raised to the sublime degree in what promises to be a memorable evening.

The Worshipful Master and Brethren would like to wish our friends and brothers both near and far a Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous New Year

Our last meeting in November saw Bro. Benn Higginson become the latest candidate to be initiated into Waverley Lodge. The meeting was well attended by members and visitors and I’m sure for Benn his first tentative steps into Freemasonry that evening will remain with him forever. Welcome to Waverley Lodge Bro. Benn!
