We held our reception at stirk house on the 27th December and I have to say it was perfect. From seeing it a few years ago (after venue dressing there for another wedding),to booking it right through to the day everyone made us feel totally at ease. All guests commented on the venue and the food was amazing. Big shout out to Dave who even came to find us whilst having our photos taken outside to bring us a drink to warm us up. He is amazing and a credit to stirk house. Thanks so much to all the team for our perfect wedding. Mr and Mrs Thompson

We have photographed weddings at Stirk House a couple of times now and wow, what a brilliant venue. The man in charge, the legendary Dave previously of Mitton Hall is just AMAZING; he and his team made sure everything ran like clockwork and treated their couples (and suppliers) like royalty. Just loved it and can't wait to work there again. Thanks guys!

We had our wedding here on Monday and couldn't fault one thing!

Right from the beginning, the staff and wedding team (Dave, Gillian, Danielle, Chelsea & Kevin just to name a few) have been so helpful and really did their best to make sure our day was so special!

The planning, food and service was amazing and the hotel and grounds couldn't have been a better setting for our wedding.

We would definitely recommend booking your wedding here- everything was perfect!

We look forward to visiting again in future.

We had our wedding here last Sunday and it was absolutely amazing.such a magical day.The staff were amazing from start to end.dave the master of ceremonies was extra amazing.he introduced himself the night before and on the morning of the wedding kept coming up to the room telling us what the plans were throughout the day.He was just brilliant.i highly recommend anyone to get married here.such a beautiful place.x

We had our wedding at Stirk house and we have to say it was perfect. From the initial booking we were supported by the team, no question was to difficult and the support they offered was amazing. We would like to say a special thank you to Dave, who greeted me and my maid of honour the evening before and came to visit us on the morning, he helped to calm my nerves and offered guidance throughout the day. Thank you to all that were involved in making our wedding day so memorable and special.

We had our Wedding Reception Here in December 2014, you cannot fault Stirk House, Friendly efficient staff, excellent food, superb facilities and the building/ grounds are simply stunning.

I didn’t want the day to end �

Dave was amazing nothing was ever too much trouble he went above and beyond! He calmed me down in the morning as I was panicking no one would know what to do ��� he was great all the guest agreed!

The wedding co’ordinators Sarah and Danielle have been great all way through the planning and was so helpful! The venue is stunning!! And well looked after!

The food was faultless - everything was perfect! The lady who was working that day was lovely I forgot her name but she was very helpful and smiley!!

Thankyou stirk house for making our day even more perfect!!

We got married here a week ago, and I can honestly say it was the most fantastic day of our lives. Everyone commented on how lovely the building is and the rooms inside; how delicious the food was and how excellent the service was. It was faultless. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'm sure I drove the team crazy, but Danielle, Dave, Hilary, Gillian and the rest of the Stirk House wedding gang were patient and listened intently. Stirk House is one of our favourite ever places and we'll certainly be back to enjoy meals and stay over as it just makes us feel happy. Stunning venue, really helpful staff, a perfect getaway!

Perfect, absolutely perfect. The venue offers the most amazing room for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Not only that, the rest of the venue and the grounds are simply stunning. Perfect for your pictures too!!

Got married here almost 8 years ago and it was everything we wanted. They catered to our every need. Got married in the gallery, meal for immediate family and close friends in restaurant and big night do in ball room. We had the run of the place and it was fantastic. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

Beautiful location, I always recommend brides to be to look here first!

As a photographer, Stirk House is a dream. Lovely grounds, brilliant interior, and fabulous staff - I always get well looked after, especially by Dave the MC - nothing is too much trouble - thank you :-)
