Myself and my new husband married here 03/11/17 and it was perfect. Firstly throughout the whole process Fiona was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and she supported me through everything. All the staff who worked on the day of my wedding were fantastic, friendly, polite, professional. There was one bar man in particular (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) but he was working all day and he was brilliant, and an absolute credit. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, and as myself and my new husband are fussy eaters they allowed me to alter the menu to suite us. I did all my own stationary and centre pieces and they laid them out perfectly for me. I really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The whole day flowed brilliantly. The DJ they used was fantastic and keep the guests dancing. The decoration company JUST4U did a beautiful job and the room looked beautiful. I would highly recommend. We stayed at the venue and even the breakfast was brilliant. Anyone looking for a beautiful venue at a reasonable cost look no further!

Just read two poor reviews, but glad to say that our experience was positive. 10 members of the family booked in for a Christmas Day meal, staff were attentive and polite, food was served quickly, well presented, hot and delicious. Overall it was a great experience, no stress preparing and no washing up - bonus! Would happily book again!

I played here with my 18 piece band (The New Lights Big Band) for an event in the main ballroom on 12th November 2016. Apart from being absolutely great hosts for the organisation having the event, they were outstanding in looking after me and the band. From a mug of tea whilst setting up to bringing refreshments and attending to our every need whilst the guests dined, I can honestly say I have never been so well treated. As a band leader, I can only say if this how they treat the acts, the guest must have been delighte, and I know they were.

Had a wonderful wedding at Wellington Park. Emma was brilliant and all the other staff were great as well. Would love to do it all again. Thank you

Had a lovely meal on Valentines Night at the restaurant at Wellington Park. The room was decorated with balloons and there were candles and heart decorations on the tables and bows on the backs of the chairs. We could not fault our meal, a generous prawn cocktail to start and a very tasty penne arrabbiata for main course. Our only complaint is that we could not manage any of the puddings on offer! The staff were very attentive and the free bottle of prosecco was an added bonus.

Had a brilliant time there this Christmas time...excellent food and really great value for money. Good fun DJ entertainment who got everyone dancing. Have read a few negative reviews but I really don't know what these people are on about - everyone looked to be enjoying themselves on New Year's Eve and we had a fab time...thank you to all the staff who worked hard over the whole festive period.

After ringing around numerous places for Christmas dinner info and getting ridiculous prices, my family and I decided we would try Wellington Park with its very reasonable £45pp.



We were all quite sceptical about what it would be like as none of us had ever eaten out on Christmas day before, but it's safe to say Wellington Park was outstanding.



The staff were very polite and attentive, the room was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!



They also had an offer on where if you pre ordered bottles of wine you got them for £10 a bottle instead on £18 which is great value for a venue like that ok Christmas day.



We all agreed that we would book to come again for a fantastic, stress free Christmas Day.

Brilliant New Years Eve at the Winter Wonder Land at Wellington Park

A fantastic venue with a superb crowd who were really welcoming when I spoke at this event. As a comedy audience, they were a sitting ovation! They cheered and carried me aloft on their shoulders. I sez "I can walk to the car." They shouted "You're going in the river!"

80s Night on Saturday was brilliant. We had an Hen party and danced all night, blow up guitars and mics and fancy balloons were ace. Hot pot was delish will defo go again

Probably the best facilities in the Leyland area. If you have not yet been to a function there, give it a try.

On my visit it was very quiet but the meal was excellent and a free pudding finished the meal off very nicely. The Pinot Grigo was very tasty

Great. Venue, bar overpriced, but staff provided great. Customer care

It's obviously concentrating on weddings and functions not for everyday guests.

All family went again for Christmas Lunch. Staff were great, food wasn't, very average much better last year. Also put in the front room, last year we were in the back room which had lots of Christmas atmosphere .

we went on christmas day and payed £45.00 per person i can say hand on heart that the service was poor , had to wait for someone to come to our table , ( and yes before people say anything i know there was other's there ) food cold , had to go to the bar myself , to be honest i would have sooner gone to a soup kitchen and give the rest of the money to charity . would not book there again p.s the only thing that was right was we did not do the washing up ,,,,,,,

we had our wedding here in 2016 and it was not as promised, there were no staff around apart from 1 girl serving at the bar, the food was of poor quality and cold, the woman who was supposed to be hosting my wedding left and went home with that not telling anyone where she had left the kids goodie bags I'd arranged, the dj was chap he play at least 5 songs 3 different times and my wedding cake was left in a hit room which started to melt my cake, not worth the money we paid and wish we had gone somewhere else!

Very poor customer service wudnt recommend them to anyone

Stallholder at the car boot - Greeted with a cramped room, no access to the car park through rear doors and poor advertisement. Poor service for a well known place.

My partner and I went to the restaurant for a valentines meal and it was horrible. The staff were brilliant but it was freezing and all last night and today I have been ill and had a temperature.

The food was full of oil as I don't have oil or use it. I had been an a la carte chef previously for 10 yrs. worked at Tickled trout, Novotel and head chef at the holiday inn woolston. So I know my food. The fillet was £19 and was around 4oz which I brought home for my dog. I have had a lovely Christmas there in the past but I will not be going again.

There where 2 couples and a member of staff with her partner in the restaurant. That says it all!!!

Came today for christmas dinner with my family, waitresses and waiter's were miserable, food came out at different times, some of us left waiting ages, i paid £45 for a 4 course meal, didnt get my pudding because there wasn't enough! And to top it off poured myself a cup of tea and got myself a mince pie for a waitress to come over and take it away unfinished!! Very unhappy about paying so much money for so little food!! Will not be returning there again.

Had a lovely meal on Valentines Night at the restaurant at Wellington Park. The room was decorated with balloons and there were candles and heart decorations on the tables and bows on the backs of the chairs. We could not fault our meal, a generous prawn cocktail to start and a very tasty penne arrabbiata for main course. Our only complaint is that we could not manage any of the puddings on offer! The staff were very attentive and the free bottle of prosecco was an added bonus.

Had a brilliant time there this Christmas time...excellent food and really great value for money. Good fun DJ entertainment who got everyone dancing. Have read a few negative reviews but I really don't know what these people are on about - everyone looked to be enjoying themselves on New Year's Eve and we had a fab time...thank you to all the staff who worked hard over the whole festive period.

Had a Christmas party night on sat with a large group of friends, it was a fantastic night and the DJ was absolutely fantastic had every one up dancing all night long , definitely be back again thanks x

After ringing around numerous places for Christmas dinner info and getting ridiculous prices, my family and I decided we would try Wellington Park with its very reasonable £45pp.



We were all quite sceptical about what it would be like as none of us had ever eaten out on Christmas day before, but it's safe to say Wellington Park was outstanding.



The staff were very polite and attentive, the room was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!



They also had an offer on where if you pre ordered bottles of wine you got them for £10 a bottle instead on £18 which is great value for a venue like that ok Christmas day.



We all agreed that we would book to come again for a fantastic, stress free Christmas Day.

Brilliant New Years Eve at the Winter Wonder Land at Wellington Park

A fantastic venue with a superb crowd who were really welcoming when I spoke at this event. As a comedy audience, they were a sitting ovation! They cheered and carried me aloft on their shoulders. I sez "I can walk to the car." They shouted "You're going in the river!"

80s Night on Saturday was brilliant. We had an Hen party and danced all night, blow up guitars and mics and fancy balloons were ace. Hot pot was delish will defo go again

Probably the best facilities in the Leyland area. If you have not yet been to a function there, give it a try.

On my visit it was very quiet but the meal was excellent and a free pudding finished the meal off very nicely. The Pinot Grigo was very tasty

All family went again for Christmas Lunch. Staff were great, food wasn't, very average much better last year. Also put in the front room, last year we were in the back room which had lots of Christmas atmosphere .

we went on christmas day and payed £45.00 per person i can say hand on heart that the service was poor , had to wait for someone to come to our table , ( and yes before people say anything i know there was other's there ) food cold , had to go to the bar myself , to be honest i would have sooner gone to a soup kitchen and give the rest of the money to charity . would not book there again p.s the only thing that was right was we did not do the washing up ,,,,,,,

we had our wedding here in 2016 and it was not as promised, there were no staff around apart from 1 girl serving at the bar, the food was of poor quality and cold, the woman who was supposed to be hosting my wedding left and went home with that not telling anyone where she had left the kids goodie bags I'd arranged, the dj was chap he play at least 5 songs 3 different times and my wedding cake was left in a hit room which started to melt my cake, not worth the money we paid and wish we had gone somewhere else!

My partner and I went to the restaurant for a valentines meal and it was horrible. The staff were brilliant but it was freezing and all last night and today I have been ill and had a temperature.

The food was full of oil as I don't have oil or use it. I had been an a la carte chef previously for 10 yrs. worked at Tickled trout, Novotel and head chef at the holiday inn woolston. So I know my food. The fillet was £19 and was around 4oz which I brought home for my dog. I have had a lovely Christmas there in the past but I will not be going again.

There where 2 couples and a member of staff with her partner in the restaurant. That says it all!!!

Came today for christmas dinner with my family, waitresses and waiter's were miserable, food came out at different times, some of us left waiting ages, i paid £45 for a 4 course meal, didnt get my pudding because there wasn't enough! And to top it off poured myself a cup of tea and got myself a mince pie for a waitress to come over and take it away unfinished!! Very unhappy about paying so much money for so little food!! Will not be returning there again.

What a fantastic hotel staff polite couldn't do enough cracking hotel for a wedding service and reception wedding breakfast was spot on.The DJ Tom was excellent this hotel is recommended

We had our wedding here on the 22nd July. From start to finish, Fiona and all the team were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. Myself and my new husband married here 03/11/17 and it was perfect. Firstly throughout the whole process Fiona was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and she supported me through everything. All the staff who worked on the day of my wedding were fantastic, friendly, polite, professional. There was one bar man in particular (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) but he was working all day and he was brilliant, and an absolute credit. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, and as myself and my new husband are fussy eaters they allowed me to alter the menu to suite us. I did all my own stationary and centre pieces and they laid them out perfectly for me. I really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The whole day flowed brilliantly. The DJ they used was fantastic and keep the guests dancing. The decoration company JUST4U did a beautiful job and the room looked beautiful. I would highly recommend. We stayed at the venue and even the breakfast was brilliant. Anyone looking for a beautiful venue at a reasonable cost look no further!

Myself and my new husband got married here on 18th May 2018 and it was perfect. We had a few moments were we thought things weren’t going ahead as planned but Wellington Park really surpassed our expectations and Fiona supported us through everything. All the staff on the day of our wedding was fantastic, friendly and professional. There was a man (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) who stayed till after we went up to our room and he had just done a full day and was back the next morning by the time we got up, he was brilliant and is a credit to Wellington Park. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, the rest of the day flowed brilliantly too. The DJ was just fantastic and had everyone up dancing, the dance floor was never empty.

The decorations from Just4u made the room look beautiful.

Just read two poor reviews, but glad to say that our experience was positive. 10 members of the family booked in for a Christmas Day meal, staff were attentive and polite, food was served quickly, well presented, hot and delicious. Overall it was a great experience, no stress preparing and no washing up - bonus! Would happily book again!

I played here with my 18 piece band (The New Lights Big Band) for an event in the main ballroom on 12th November 2016. Apart from being absolutely great hosts for the organisation having the event, they were outstanding in looking after me and the band. From a mug of tea whilst setting up to bringing refreshments and attending to our every need whilst the guests dined, I can honestly say I have never been so well treated. As a band leader, I can only say if this how they treat the acts, the guest must have been delighte, and I know they were.
