We have a vision to grow a relevant, Christ-like church that serves our community.
We believe that, as people search for meaning in life, what they’re really searching for, deep down, is a relationship with God, who made us, and has never stopped loving us. We can have that relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, His Son.
People may need healing, may be struggling in their relationships, be frightened or weighed down – all the things that happen in a broken world. We believe that, through Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection, God heals, restores, forgives and saves, so we have a lot to celebrate . We’re a church that hopes to combine an evangelical flavour with a desire to see people grow in their relationship with God, and to exercise the gifts the Holy Spirit gives us.

Thank you to everyone who's donated baking things for the young people at Drop-In 🙂 Here are today's results!
We'd love to pray more for our community: for your loved ones, your stresses, hopes, anything at all, so we've put up some postboxes and 'Say One for Me' cards that anyone passing by our building can complete and drop in the box to us. A small group of church members will pray over what's written on the cards and keep your messages confidential. It's free and there's no catch - we'll say one for you!
Our friends at Wirral Youth for Christ have their commissioning coming up next week. RSVP if you're free to go along and support them :)
The bookshop's open tomorrow (Wednesday) from 10am-1pm. Pop in for a card, gift, book, CD... And a cuppa and chat :) All welcome!
The current needs for the homeless people who members of our church serve in Liverpool are:
- Wrapped chocolate bars - Men’s warm thick socks - Men’s gloves, hats, scarfs, jogging bottoms, pants, thermals... - Toiletries - individual tissues, cough sweets, toothpaste, wet wipes, men’s deodorant - Sleeping bags - Warm coats
Please leave any contributions in the box near the pigeon holes, at the back of church. Many thanks for the generous donations so far!

There's no evening service at West Kirby United Reformed Church today (20th) because we're all invited to St Agnes, Darmond's Green, West Kirby for a Churches Together service at 6.30pm for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity - see you there!
This Sunday, we'll be thinking about Christian Friendship at the 10.30am service and then, instead of the usual evening service, everyone's invited to St Agnes church for a Churches Together service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity - see you there!

If you have any spare kitchen scales or other baking things (aprons, cookie cutters etc) that the young people at the Drop-In could use for some baking activities this term, we'd love to hear from you! Thanks!
The international Week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins tomorrow (18th). Everyone's welcome at the special services and prayer meetings taking place in West Kirby this week :)
The church were kind enough to rent the large hall to us in order to host a mock 11+ exam for our tutoring school. The facilities and communication were excellent and we can't recommend Edward and his team highly enough.
Great, friendly church! Doing lots of youth work in the community. Warm welcome.
