West Suffolk College would like to invite you to join us for an exciting opportunity over the Summer. If you’re aged 15-17 and haven’t completed NCS before, you could be eligible for our 4 week National Citizen Service Summer Programme. Our programme runs from 1st-26th July and we’ll be embarking on adrenaline fuelled activities such as Rock Climbing, Canoeing and Abseiling, developing your skill set and preparing you for the future.
You’ll meet loads of new people and will ...soon get to know your NCS family during the first 2 weeks’ residential stays (exc.weekends), before we then take on an exciting Social Action Project which YOU get to choose.
The programme is nationally recognised and is the fastest growing youth movement in the country! We ask for a £35 contribution for NCS in the Summer, however additional funding and bursaries are sometimes available.

Come to our final open event on Saturday 22 June 2019 from 10am to 12noon at West Suffolk College (IP33 3RL). Whether you want to be a scientist, engineer, carpenter, social carer or nurse, you can kickstart your career with a vocational course or apprenticeship from West Suffolk College.
Our Open Events are the perfect way to find out what it's like to study with West Suffolk College. You'll uncover more about the courses you’re interested in and take a tour of our facilitie...s, meeting current students and your future tutors on the way.
You'll also be able to get advice on how best to finance your studies, and ask other questions of our student welfare advisers. You will be able to apply for any full-time, part-time and adult education or apprenticeship courses on the day.
