Well we thought we had our Christmas stock all sewn up but the deliveries have been non stop,all week and expecting more on Monday.Total exhaustion phew ! 😱 We’ve had a restock of the RC car FTX Kanyon, but lots of new Revell and Trumpeter releases. The long awaited model 1.144th scale of the worlds biggest transporter plane The Antonov has arrived. It is priced at £89.99 but it is a BIG kit and has 227 parts. It will certainly keep you busy well over Christmas possibly into next. We’ve had a good selection of war ships through from Trumpeter HMS Dreadnought, Repulse, Exeter,Warspite,Renown and more. Come and have a leisurely browse shake off the Christmas stress we’re open every day now until 4pm Christmas Eve.

Two new arrivals this week: Hornby Streamlined Coronation Class, LMS, Queen Elizabeth. RRP £189.99p. Our Price is £171.
Also arriving tomorrow is the largest plastic Aircraft kit we have ever stocked. The 1/32 HK Models Avro Lancaster. The wingspan is nearly a metre wide. This is the Limited Edition Special. If you are viewing on a Mobile Phone, you will need a bigger screen!!!
We are open Thursday 20th and Sunday 23rd December as part of our extended Christmas Shopping hours. So we are now open every day until 4pm Christmas Eve.

Only eleven more sleeps and deliveries are continuing at a frantic pace. New RC Car, the FTX Ravine. Latest Loco from Bachmann is the Europhoenix Class 37 with Sound. A Huge plastic kit of the German Battleship, Bismarck. Well over a metre long. Somebody said "We need a bigger boat", so we got one! New Revell releases. Our Bachmann Scenecraft Sale continues, with even more items added and lots more.... Closed this Sunday 16th December and then we are open every day until we close at 4pm on Christmas Eve. Arrrgh only 13 more shopping days until we close for Christmas. So what do we do? We have a SALE on of Scenecraft Bachmann OO and Graham Farish N Gauge Buildings!! Many items to add the finishing touch to your model railway layout. Some items are less than half price. There are even TV aerials and Satellite Dishes to finish off your buildings. Not to mention somewhere to park your bike while you catch the train. 😆 Starts Monday 10am. We have been constantly stocking and re-stocking our vast range of plastic kits, so if you cannot see what you want just ask and we will do our best to get it before Christmas.

Good evening everyone. We didn’t post last Friday but we’ve still been getting deliveries for Christmas. This week we’ve had a number of interesting AMT car kits 1/25th scale ‘57 Chrysler 300cc a 1/25th Gear Hustler and a Freuhauf Coca-Cola 1/25th detailed Trailer kit and an unusual MPC 1/25th Tiger Shark car kit. Finally a Hasegawa 20352 1/24 Scale Model Car Kit Jaguar Xj-sc V12 Cabriolet. For our Sci Fi customers the must have MPC New model kit at 22” long a BIG KIT the Space 1999 Eagle Transporter 1/48th. Apologies this weekly shop stock update is a day late. To be honest it’s been a bit of a mad dash week. You’ve no doubt seen the post and accompanying video for the 1/8th Monster Buggy arriving this Monday. That’s a whole lot of BIG RC car. We’ve taken in big deliveries on Friday from Bachmann Europe ( Train and Plastic Kit supplier ) Peco (Train Accessory supplier) and Hobbyco ( Modelling Tamiya supplies ). Trying to get it all unpacked and away in time for Saturday opening was tight timing. Just over 5weeks until Christmas and anyone after that something special will need to let us know so we can order in. Come and see us and get some ideas. Have a good week.

For the VW Camper van follower we have the T1 Samba and Flower Power Samba Bus both 1/24th scale and one only Ford Mustang GT 1/25th scale. Oh nearly forgot the ever popular HMS Bounty 1.110th scale came sailing in too. Come and see us over the weekend and be tempted...you know you want one..or two..well !!

The weekends do come around quickly but we’ve had a good week in the shop as we’re well on the way to stocking up for Christmas 🎄 The arrival today the FTX Outlaw 1/10th Brushless and Brushed 4WD Buggy Ultra -4 RTR Buggy. In addition more plastic kits 1/35th German armour by Amusing Hobbies and RyeField Models. We’ve also stocked up Scalextric track so for those sets that you’re all going to fill Christmas stockings with we’ve got the extra track to make those curves and bends. Hey it’s Friday again and only 13 more Fridays until Christmas 🎄!!! Well we’re not there yet thankfully and to bring you up to speed with this weeks deliveries. It’s been a week of topping up on items necessary for modelling. Such as Tamiya spray and mini pot paints mixing jars, glues,Vallejo paints washes,thinners and other vital items. We’ve taken delivery from Humbrol several acrylic paint colours that we’ve not had in store for some time Matt black,Matt white, green’s si...lver, reds and at long last primer. Hornby and Scalextric have sent through for our model train enthusiast a Railroad BR Class 14XX 0-4-2T 1424- Era 5 £59.99 and a couple of Peckett Works Livery No.560/1893 0-4-0 ST-Era 2 £99.99. Both these locomotives are DCC Ready. Last but not least for Ford rally and slot car enthusiasts 2018 is a milestone 50 years in fact since the launch of one of Fords greatest successes the Escort. The Mexico. This diamond white example is the perfect way to remember the success of one of Dagenham’s most brilliant designs. Colour: White Year :1968 That’s it folks for this week. Wow, what a great place. A proper model shop! Great hospitality, nothing to much trouble, good prices. Even offered a brew!

Words alone cannot describe the friendly atmosphere of the place. The staff have always made me feel welcome and the staff are always happy to help, no matter how big or small the problem is, but the thing i most of all is their vast range of models to choose from. You cannot beat the widnes model centre.

Widnes is a little out my way from Wigan but worth the journey for my boys new R.c car which Barry helped to choose the colour.. both Barry and Tom are brilliant fellas... Very helpful.. Quality shop.... �

This shop was recommended to me. I have visited all the ones in my general area and this one leaves the others for dead, its outstanding. Great selection of N Gauge which is what I had been looking for. It stocks everything and has friendly helpful staff. I will be going back come pay day.

The people who own/work in the shop are so genuinely helpful and they have a brilliant customer care attitude. We absolutely would recommend them to others. Love this shop

Barry is a nice chap, the lads he has know their stuff and his wife makes the best brew in Widnes! Oh and there's a shop there too! Lol

After being recomended i visited widnes models with my son and purchased a hpi firestorm nitro rc car. The advice and customer service is unlike any other shop we have visited and couldnt ask for more, really nice staff and owners who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door, i highly recomend visiting them before you even think of going else where.
