Went for the first time yesterday and we really enjoyed it. It was first time my kids have skated. My daughter started off all over the place but really picked it up. My son tried then refused to try again lol. I will defo be taking them again as my daughter cried when it was time to go lol



I would like to say to, well done to the lady that was on the cafe cooking. It was really busy and even tho she forgot some things on order she was quick to apologise and do it straight away. The food was delicious.



We came all way from Blackpool to go here specially and defo going to make it a regular thing

Went for the first time today. What really stood out was how friendly and helpful everyone was.

The staff took their time to introduce themselves and nothing was too much trouble. My son soon got the confidence to skate on his own following some tips from the skate Marshall as the rink was quiet today.

All the regular skaters were really friendly too and helped my children when they were struggling

A really fun friendly and welcoming venue. Will definitely be back.

Went for the alnighter, the staff 10 out of 10, iconic venue, top honey promoter, and can we have it an extra hour next time, to get a bit of skating in, use to love been on the end of a chain and flying through them doors in the 60ts in cambridge...and you have the same doors on the left lol i would imagine health and safety would prevent such happenings now :} great fun thank you, Smiley xxx

Very friendly welcoming place ....staff are brilliant ....an alround good night .....we loves skatey time. Great place to take kids for birthday parties as well they have designated party rooms well worth a look if you thinking of parties for kids

Staff really friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed it there and are now starting our 2 boys with roller skating lessons

My daughter and her friend had a joint birthday party here at the weekend. All the children had a great time and the adults too. Couldn't fault the service or the staff. Party was great and none of the children had skated before and they all mastered it by the end. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great day xxxx

Love it here - used to come when I was younger. Now I bring my daughter. Great place to come, especially in the half term and the entry fee and skate hire is very reasonable.

Kids had a great time at the Halloween night skate, even won a free pass for best costume. If you want to skate but are too scared to try grab a lesson on Sunday morning and learn. My kids have been going for a few years now and as winter sets in rollerskating is an ideal way to blow off all that energy! Great staff, they really look after you and of course the music is great too. Thanks ya all.

Just returned from another great session at Wigan Roller Rink, having recently exchanged my walking boots for a pair of roller skates it was a great experience, with members of staff assisting newer customers helping us to have a great time and with instructors from earlier training lessons helping individuals enhance their skills! Well worth a visit, thanks!

I used to go skating in my teens now we go as a family when we can. My daughter loves it, now we take our nephew he loves it just as much even better now he's for his own skates. Had birthday parties here and random nights with friends. Great exercise. LOVE it

I love this place. Great fun day out for all. The kids love it, takes me back to my teenage skating days too and the music and lights create a fab disco atmosphere. Shame it's so far away from us �

I had the best time tonight taking my 4yr old girl for her first visit, she loves it and can't wait to go again! The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, really good with Amelia. I was always there as a kid, it's a great place for all ages �might ask Father Christmas for some roller skates�

Had my son's 7th birthday party here last week....was totally amazing!!!!!! The kids loved it and in the end we couldn't keep the parents off either � our party host Beth was lovely, brilliant with the kids and encouraged even my youngest at 2yrs old to have a go....Fab music, food & can't speak highly enough of the staff who couldn't do enough for us all, helping the kids to skate and building their confidence....highly recommend & will defo be back soon for a skate!!!!! �

Brilliant fun! Really enjoying going to lessons with my son. Staff are helpful & friendly, teachers are lovely & patient. It’s been 25+ years since I owned a pair of skates but after a friend recommended lessons at Wigan Roller Rink my confidence soon returned. Skate hire, lesson & disco afterwards for a great price. Nice little cafe & plenty of seating. Bonus of the skate shop being there too. Great family fun!

Issues.

Can’t take your own drinks. So add £2 for every person you take

Have to use a cloakroom £1

Couple of idiots on inlines scared my daughter breaking at speed in front of her (not the rinks fault)

But highly recommended

First time going. Done skating in the past but never at a rink so was different. Son never skated before so shocking for him but after his initial nerves wore off he really enjoyed it.

I wear 7s but found the skates a bit short for me so would definitely pick a size up next time but didn't realise I could swap until I spoke to the nice man at the hire area when returning them.

Everyone was friendly and my son wants to know when we can come back.

Normally I'd rate this place of high standards we've been many times before, but a bit of a bad day.

We were 1 adult and 2 kids and got charged more than a family entry as with only 1 adult we didn't qualify for it.

We then made the mistake of ordering food appalling service,ordered pizza twist and 45mins in a staff member approached and said they had non then we were offered hot dogs,waited another 15 mins and got bored of waiting so went for refund staff member tried to refund on card when I paid cash

We then left to go for lunch out not the holiday treat out for two kids as excepted,sorry guys today you definitely failed on customer service.
