These are some halfway pics from a private group booking we had yesterday where we made a candle in a tin. The ladies were all beginners and did a fantastic job!
The most popular scent picked was ‘Velvet Orchid’.

You only need a group of min. 8 people (Max 12) and prices start from just £15/head for workshops such as this ‘Candle in a Tin’ workshop. You can pick your scent range from the following suggestions:
‘At the Bar’ (alcohol range) ‘Designer female perfume’ (pick from various popular fragrance houses) ‘Designer male aftershave’ (make one for a Fathers Day gift perhaps?!) ‘Sweet Tooth’ (pudding & sweet inspired) ‘Inspirational Wirral’ (scents that mimic our favourite places on our peninsular)
And more besides. Just say your theme & I’ll create the range to scent test. Bring your own tipple along (tea/coffee included in price) if you fancy and chill out with friends.

How amazing do these look?!
These lovely ladies made these beautiful wax melts for Jen’s hen do in Warwick today. They made soy tealights too and each got a ceramic burner to use with them.
We scent tested a variety of scents including White Patchouli, Black Orchid, Ginger & Nutmeg, Pomegranate Noir, Earl Grey & Cucumber & Dark Amber & Ginger Lily.
... Brilliant afternoon!

Woweeeee! These creations were after Part 1 of our Luxe Candle course. Don’t they look gorgeous?
Part 2 is this Friday (correction: THURSDAY!) where we finish them with a heat gun, trim, label & box them all up.
Can’t wait! ♥️💛💜

Wirral Candle Co. made a plastic free pledge last year. So, how have we improved?
✌🏻 We use bio-glitter and mica in our wax melt workshop classes. ✌🏻We use sustainable soy wax without additives ✌🏻We use unbleached cotton wicks... ✌🏻We use biodegradable plastic for our melts ✌🏻All our fragrance oils are vegan friendly, paraben-free & non animal tested ✌🏻We offer a reduced price refill service on diffuser and candle jars & will refill any other brand’s jars ✌🏻We use recycled plastic for the tealight holders ✌🏻We use left over wick trimmings for our tealights to avoid wastage
Our next big change is packaging. We are converting from cardboard to cotton bags. The bags can then be used to bring back your used container for a refill or re-purposed in another way. It avoids throwing away your cardboard packaging which is often laminated & so leaves a plastic trace. Not to mention deforestation.
So, we will continue to make these eco-friendly changes because we can & we care.

A new course. Inspired by Designers 🖤✌🏻
