Our festive hire offer starts tomorrow: 6 weeks hire for the price of 4 That is just £15 for six weeks! Hires can be swapped at our drop in up to 18th Dec so there is plenty of time to try more than one sling within the hire period.

... Our library is run on a non-profit basis and we are lucky to have volunteers and supporters that take the time to attend each week, ensuring our drop in is a social and welcoming place. Our first hour is dedicated to a sling social chat, meet other parents or carers interested in carrying, those who are trying different slings and those who have found their right fit. Enjoy a ‘cuppa and cake’ from the cafe for £1.50. (Hires, renewals and returns are still available during the social hour)
There is no need to book, we have two trained consultants on hand to help you browse and try our slings as well as hire them. We can help with a sling/carrier you already own too. Parents and carers of all aged children attend, as well as those still expecting.
Hire starts from £5 a week. We suggest you register with us in advance to save time (you can register on the day if preferred). wirralslinglibrary.myturn.com

fab advice and had just what i needed to keep baby warm on an outdoor hiking holiday with the sling!! Wish i had more time to go to all the meets but the 'sling a long' days out are a great social event!!

Wonderfully knowledgable people to help you find the right carrier for your baby. One to one private consultation was great and really helped me feel confident with my new ring sling :)

Wibke was so helpful when I brought my twins in and straightaway got us set up with two connectas and showed me how to get them set up safely. So much easier than taking the double pram everywhere �

This is a fantastic service run by a knowledgeable, fun and friendly sling consultant. Since finding out about Wirral Sling library I have been for a one to one consultation when my son was 3 weeks old and was given safety advise and was able to practice with slings and hired one for a great price. I have attended sling library meets which have been both sociable and informative. More recently I went to a wrapping workshop which was great to build confidence using wraps. Would recommend this library whole heartedly, can't sing the praises of Wibke enough!

Thank you so so much for helping me find the perfect sling and showing me how to use it. With three children under 5 this is invaluable to me. Wish I'd known about the sling library with my first born. Well recommend to all. I'm now at last hands free and my baby already appears to love it too X

So welcoming and helpful. Great information and demonstration of the toddler carriers for our 2 year old. Would highly recommend going here for anyone thinking of using a carrier or wanting advice for all age groups.

Really welcoming and supportive team who helped me and my baby find the perfect sling. So much to see and choose from and the demonstrations and advice were excellent. Only stumbled across the sling library with my third. Someone recently said that juggling with 2 balls is easy but not everyone can juggle with 3! I've had a hard time physically since the birth and the sling has helped me regain another pair of hands. The guidance provided was second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your services to anyone.

Just spent a wonderful afternoon walking around Liverpool with no crying by wearing my 7 week old baby. The sling library really is a great resource.

Highly recommend the one-on-one consultation. I was quite nervous to start carrying my newborn as she's quite small. However, after the consultation it only took me a couple of goes to get confident using the Hanna wrap. Now I've been out walking and can do all the housework, it's amazing! Wonderful service and I hope to pop along to the Tuesday session soon to remind me how to use my ring sling :)
