About Wirral Society Of The Blind And Partially Sighted
Wirral Society of the Blind and Partially Sighted was created in 1989 by a group of local visually impaired people. Their aim was to create an organisation to offer help, support and advice to those with serious sight problems in Wirral.

We had a visit from two lovely ladies from the Wallasey Stroke Club last week. They kindly presented us with a cheque for £2,000. We are so grateful for their kind support, many thanks.
What an amazing afternoon we all had celebrating our 30th anniversary.
Happy 30th anniversary to WSBPS
Here is Derek Beauchamp one of our founder members who helped us celebrate our 30th anniversary.
This kind of illegal and selfish parking causes huge issues for our service users and, in some cases, puts them in tremendous danger when they are forced to park in the road. Please tell your friends and family not to park like this.
If you see any instances of parking where the pavement is blocked then take a photo - it can be reported to Merseyside Police via their website.
If there are any particularly bad roads, let us know!
James Watson will be doing the Wirral Coastal walk 2019 in aid of us on Sunday 23rd June. Please help support James by sponsoring or donating. Many thanks.

Hi everyone, we are putting out a request for mosaic pieces, in particular blue and gold to represent our charity colours. We are creating a giant mosaic to celebrate our 30th year as a charity. Many thanks to you all.
Hi all , you have a chance to nominate us for a £1,000 award from ecclesiastical movement-for-good. Closing time on this nomination is the end of the business working day Friday 17th May. It is easy to nominate us, just take five minutes and follow the instructions. Our charity number is 1147170. Many thanks. https://www.ecclesiastical.com/movement-f or-good/…
