This venue is a hidden gem in Meathop nr Grange over Sands we've stayed here many times, comfortable rooms, excellent food & great pine lodges situated in a quiet location.
Lovely meal tonight! Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful evening meal with my husband on Easter Sunday, gorgeous food, and great service
Had a weekend with the family in a lodge loved our stay, food was also great in the restaurant, we will be back👍
Had a fab time here with the family. Just drove from Heysham,r, got key from staff at the hotel just 100 yards at the top of the short path. Had a sauna, jacuzzi which we all used, great fun. Had meals in the hotel, staff fab, lovely area with you waking up in a forest setting. Drove around to do other things in the day and chilled at night, would go again is excellent.
Great place for a quet holiday. Pine lodges are lovely, so cosy and worm! You get everything you may need from a dishwasher to a jacuzzi bath..
Gorgeous food on a lovely setting! Amazing steak! Made us feel very welcome with our 5 year old son too! Will definitely be back next time we're in the Lakes :)

Absolutely amazing place we stayed in one of the lodges with our 2 small dogs which had spa bath and sauna. Very clean and spacious very relaxing
We ate at the restaurant in a he hotel the food was good and staff friendly we will definitely be returning soon
The setting is beautiful, the lodge is lovely; spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. It's very handy to be able to eat at the hotel where the food is standard fare but very good. But there are negatives, principally in the quality of mattresses on the twin beds which are well worn with every spring making an uncomfortable lump. A missing lampshade had not yet been replaced despite it being reported twice, and there are no instructions on how to use the equipment so we still haven't succeeded in activating the towel rail in the bathroom.
With a bit more effort this could be a good 5 star stay.
First impressions good everything what we expected to look like until closer inspection facilities not up to scratch ie
Shower has no shelves for shampoo/shower gel
No hooks on bathroom door for hanging clothes
No power sockets near the mirrors in bedroom
No drawers in bedrooms
No constant hot water had to wait an hour each time we wanted hot water
Broken bathroom handle
These might seem petty to some people but for the price we paid we expected better
