Welcome to Workington Golf Club founded in 1893. It is a splendid parkland course on the edge of the lake district near to Keswick and with easy access from the coast to coast route.
This superb 18 hole James Braid designed parkland Golf course offers a challenging par 72 with magnificent views of the Solway Firth and the Cumbrian Fells.

Went saturday evening Lovely food and excellent service fully recomend one of the best bar meals I've had in a long time defo be black xx
Went for afternoon tea, get absolutely loads of food, all of it was gorgeous, will be back ��
We had a bar meal last night. Fish and chips/scampi and chips. . . huge fish, hanging off the plate. . . ("we gonna need a bigger plate!"). it was delicious. Pleasant welcoming staff as well.
The new golfing season is nearly upon us.

Second time in a week I've been to this venue can strongly recommend. The buffet we had at the RNLI was gorgeous I'm still talking about it!!! Also lunch I had this Saturday was equally as nice. Lovely friendly staff especially Sarah who looked after us .keep up the good work
Second time here. Lovely afternoon tea. Lovely staff. Couldn't fault anything other than no card machine so please be aware as had to drive to the nearest cash machine to then be charged £1.25 to use. Lovely evening, thank you x
Played the course for the first time today. Course in great condition, greens were good, staff and members very friendly, will definitely play again!
Lovely afternoon tea, the spread was delicious we couldn't manage to eat it all. So got the rest packed to take away with us. Great staff. Really friendly club members ! Would highly recommend !
Love the golf course brilliant day club house & staff are fantastic they should give themselves a big pat on the back food 🥘 was great well done we will be back
Love being member at this club and recommend joining to prospective,new and experienced golfers young or mature. A great but always enjoyable test of golf on a well maintained course. Golfers and non-golfers are always welcome in the clubhouse where the catering is second to none. The Club Professional always on hand to advise on getting started and providing tuition. A well stocked shop too! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
Great place to have a party was my 1st visit was just a bit dissapointed at the choice of drinks as in there wasnt much choice other than that a great place
For £15 this course is in great condition with some of the best par 3s I played nice staff too would recommend a game
For mid October the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. A challenge for golfers of all abilities and we'll worth the green fees. Friendly greenstaff and obliging members made my visit so worthwhile. Thank you and I will be back.
Food was lovely , very good size portions and nice choice on the menu and special board
Fantastic food, in fact one of my favourite meals of the year. The chicken, ham & leek pie was plentiful and fabulous. Lovely home made chips & gorgeous gravy.
Can't wait to go back.

Fabulous afternoon tea gorgeous fresh made sandwiches ,quiches ,sausage roll,fantastic cakes & pastries! !all for the amazing £12.00 !!! Will definitely b going again soon !!!
Excellent staff...nothing was too much trouble..great homecooked food at a really great price will defo go again...
