Now is the perfect time to invest in your succulents, these water retaining plants love the light and can be grown indoors or outdoors. They are great for first time growers or to help bring some life back indoors during the colder days.

Have you seen any snowdrops (Galanthus) yet? These lovely flowers will be popping up soon but if you cant wait till then, why not pot some yourself?

Visited the grotto today and it was amazing! Loved all of the Extras you get to do with the kids, the walkway to see Santa has been decorated really festive, very well done and lots to look at. The Elves were all brilliant especially Jordan who was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble very friendly and happy. Santa was also great there was no feeling of being rushed at all. All had a great time brilliant experience. Thank you.

I recently visited Worlds End Garden centre in Wendover, where on arrival I was impressed by the parking facilities and the presentation and cleanliness of the garden centre. There was a very wide selection of shrubs, plants, seeds and trees at very reasonable prices. We visited the garden centre's restaurant where there was many different varities of food on offer, highly recommend visiting this great restaurant with great service and pleasant staff. During our visit to the garden centre, the staff were extremely helpful and approached us with care asking if we were able to find everything we had to come for. The garden centre has a large array of franchises, including a fantastic fruit and vegetable stall with excellent display and great customer service. I would highly recommend visiting this garden centre, 5* service and products.

Great day. Father christmas and winter wonderland fab only negative food in restaurant too expensive. X

The winter wonderland was fab ( although expensive!) I would say it was worth the money. I was extremely disappointed that we were unable to have tea in the cafe. We came to the garden centre after school so didn't get there till quarter to four. We walked around the wonderland and queued for Santa for about half an hour. Although we had young children with us they were very patient and we were happy to wait. However, when we then went to the cafe afterwards and told the children that for being good and waiting so nicely to see see Santa they could have tea here, we were told that they stop serving hot food at half four ( this was at 4.35). I think the fact that the wonderland is open that late for those who can't go during the day it is disappointing that the cafe can't remain open a little later during this festive period. When I expressed my view with a 'manager' I was told to go to costa if I want food! We spent ┬Ż45 in total in a space of and hour and to then be told to basically go somewhere else I found very rude. I understand it may not be viable to do this all year round but surely for the month of December it would be good. I'm sure it would generate a lot more money for the cafe as well as satisfy tired, hungry children who have just queued to see Santa.

You can't Park because it's full of pensioners and all the spaces in the car park are for parents and disabled

Winter Wonderland was sweet although more suitable for young children. Santa however, was the worst we've EVER visited and I'm on my 3rd child. So grumpy. My son cheekily told him he'd been 50% good to be told with no humour or smile whatsoever that he needs to be better behaved next year. It was like an interview with my son stood in the middle of the room since there was no invitation, warmth or friendliness in the room. Under pressure to get out quickly he then chose a babyish dinosaur book which you could buy in a pound shop. Total waste of ┬Ż8 and half an hour queueing in the cold.

While the winter wonderland is beautiful and well worth a visit it is not clear that the ┬Ż7 for the children is optional - you can pay ┬Ż1.50 and not have a toy. While the toy selection is varied and mostly good quality i would have happily saved the ┬Ż11 as i took 14 month old twins who are too young to know any different. Having a double buggy also proved to be an issue as some doorways are very tight and when we reached the exit I could not get the buggy out between the xnas trees and had to walk all the back to the entrance to get out -: trickier than first thought as people were reluctant to let us by - luckily it was a week day and fairly quiet otherwise that would been horrendous! Then we decided to go to the cafe for lunch. - we picked up carrots and a sandwich for the twins and some grapes along with a couple of jacket potatoes and a cake each for dessert - this came to ┬Ż25 which I feel was a little steep. However the bread was very very stale on the sandwich and the carrot sticks were dry and well past their best. We asked if the jackets were done in the oven and the girl said thst they were but a good ten minutes later there was still no sign of the them. We took the sandwich back to the till and asked for a refund - the sandwich was ┬Ż 1.99 and they asked us for the penny in order to refund us ┬Ż2 which to my mind is petty seeing as we were not able to eat the carrot - we waited for ice that never came and we had spent a fair bit of money anyway! At this point mostly due to the staff's attitudes we asked for the whole order to be refunded - this then took another five minutes as they refunded each item separately to make sure they did not refund the sandwich twice! No apologies made or offered - the chap that processed the refund barely looked up! All in all the winter wonder land is great and recommended so long as you dont have a double buggy or want anything to eat
