KICK OFF! ⚽️ Saturday football returns, and if it's match day, it's pie day! So don't forget to grab yourself a Wrights Pie

User

Wrights pies are lovely, their Sausage rolls are as nice if not nicer than Greggs.. certainly nicer than Chatwins which are greasy and seem undercooked.

Wrights cakes are to die for .. today we had a black forest muffin and a cream muffin .. they were delish!

Also their coffees are only a £1 which is cheaper than Greggs or Subway and at the Hanley branch we were offered a flavour in our coffee like caramel or hazelnut.

The sandwiches look lovely and fresh too.

We go to the Tunstall shop mainly and the staff are so lovely and friendly despite being very busy .. well done ladies xx

Hi wrights pie buy my pies every week for a long time from a butchers shop on Crewe market. Suddenly the stall has shut down. I can still get the pie elsewhere but was also buying the large custard tarts.Where can I get these from now on.

User

Stoped eating Wright's meat and potatoes pies as the potatoes are always hard

User

I hate to grumble because I love wrights in general however today I treated myself to a chicken tikka pasty and a ginger bread man (my Friday treat!) from your stoke shop and instead of the normal soft, chewy, ginger delight, it was hard! I could barely bite into it :( normally I carefully tear his limbs off one by one before devouring his head and buttons. Have you changed your recipe or is this a one off? Very disappointed. - from a ginger bread man lover.

Went the Chesterton shop today, staff missable and no choice ,steak pastie was cold and vanilla slice was warm think they got them mixed up

User

Went to Wright's pies in Northwood on march the 1st with my 2 girls and the lady would not take my 10 pound note as she said u are not spending that here it's the old 10 pound I said I can still use it up to today she said no you carnt the last day she said was the 31st so I said funny that only 28 days in Feb and still would not take my money witch made me leave my 2 girls in the shop why I had to go to cash point I think it's absolutely descusting that I had to do this when my money was still legle tender

User

Stopped buying the meat and potato pies a long time ago as the meat is awful compared to what was in them years ago. Today I decided to try a steak pie (haven't had 1 in approx 2 years)....and I find 2 pieces of plastic inside. Messaged them on here and not even an apology, just asked for my contact details. Judging from other reviews it seems like it's not that uncommon. Never again will I be buying from wrights. Very, very poor!!

User

Sick of going to the shop in chell to get home and the pies are hot but the meat inside looks uncooked, had salad baps from there and found mould on them STAY AWAY

User

My mum went to Wrights in Northwood today for a meat and potato pie on her way back from the airport. Gutted that she found bones in the pie...either a mouse or small bird. Put me off Wright's forever... #gutted - she was half way through when she realised

My husband went to the branch in Hanford today and specifically asked which pasties they had which were meat-free. They said they had a cheese and bean pastie so he purchased it; it wasn't until he bit into the pie in the car that he realised it had sausage in!

It's extremely important for food establishments to take other people's ethical values and / or allergies seriously. I'm sure it was a genuine error however errors like this should not be made!

User

Love wrights but your shop in longton needs an overhaul of staff .ive not been in for months because a couple of the women there need to learn manners . I went in for the first time in ages hoping it had changed but the miserable old woman who served was just horrible . No please thank you or hiya as she come in from the back .the only time she perked up was when i asked who the manager was . Disgraceful . Shouldnt be working with the public at all

User

I bought a veggie slice today and there was a chunk of plastic inside the slice. The food truck I got it off were really lovely and assuring but the quality check within Wright’s was not met! All of my colleagues had to check all their food too

User

I bought a cheese and onion pasty from wolstanton and inside it was a lump of plastic, so I emailed the Crewe main department and they told me it sounded like there thickening agent that hadn't broken down in the mixture, they told me to send it to them in a prepaid envelope, when they received it they phoned me saying conveniently the envelope arrived with a hole in it and the plastic had fallen out, apparently it happens quite regular when people send in items found in their products, l just think a child could of chocked on the plastic and they didn't give a monkeys, I spoke to Crewe environmental health and they said I should have sent it to them so they could have investigated it.

User

Can't really comment on the produce, but I would like to know why the factory workers were quite recently threatened with the sack by members of the management team for suggesting they wanted to join a union?
