We had our wedding here on Friday, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were fantastic, the room was stunning and the food was incredible. Thank you so much to all of you for the best day ever. xx

Stayed here on Saturday night with my partner. Fabulous! On arrival the receptionist was so lovely and welcoming. The room was really nice and clean, very spacious. We had a 3 course meal in the evening which was beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic. Would definitely visit again, well worth the 3.5 hour drive!

We came here for my Dad's 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was great. My only criticism would be the fact that we had to ask for the cot to be brought in. Today we discovered that a member of the party returned to the serviced room with a bag of rubbish left on the side, whilst another's coffee tray was unreplenished and the bill wasn't quite right. On the whole, we would go back!

This is our first time staying and we were slightly disappointed with our room, we booked a family room (2 adults 2 kids) and when we walked in the room there was 3 beds, I spoke to reception and the lovely receptionist advised she would get a Z bed sent up to us.

We were there as we were invited to a friends wedding so decided to stay the night as a treat to the family. We were approached by (I think the manager) when we went downstairs that they had no more Z beds but we could move rooms at no extra cost, we were moved to 2 separate rooms (which wasn’t ideal) but we all had a bed each (bonus).

The rooms were clean and tidy but in need of an update (especially the bathrooms), there was no double beds in any of the 3 rooms we went into but for 1 night we didn’t grumble. The facilities were good and the staff were lovely, especially the evening receptionist and manager (I think), food was very nice and our 10 year old was able to get her picture taken with the very accommodating Peter Crouch.

All round an enjoyable time by us all and we look forward to staying again. Thank you 🙂🙂

Have stayed at this hotel before. We where a party of 4 who stayed 21st of April 2018. When we arrived the only time we could have our evening meal was 6.o'clock or 8.30pm. We decided to take the 6 o'clock time as 8.30pm would of meant us finishing at around 10pm by the time we had decided what we wanted to eat. We all had starters 3 of us had soup, the other person had a cheese and tomato salad that was 4 small pieces of cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half with a very small handful of salad, It was 3 /4 mouthfuls of food. We spoke to a man who we thought was the restaurant manager who just said to me that it was pointed out to the chief about that. Our main courses arrived but one of them was not what it had said on the menu. Another meal was made but it was after we had been given our meal. That meant she was eating alone and this was a family meal we where having. When we left to go to the bar, a Brandy Coffee was asked for only to be told that you do not make them, in the eat she got a coffee that she had to wait for and a brandy in a glass. We where very surprised to find you do not make liqueur coffee as we have had loads of meals and finished them with liqueur coffee.

Bought this on a Groupon deal and I must say it was well worth the price. The evening meal was limited choice but what we had was amazing . The staff were very attentive and it was great to see our food being cooked and served in front of us . Unfortunately I do a have a couple of negatives that need to be addressed. As previous comments in November the bar upstairs was still very cold some guests sat in coats and a couple went back to there room for a warm . I did mention this to the bar staff as it felt like the air conditioning was on cool but was told that there wasn’t any air conditioning but there were obvious drafts coming from the ceiling vents the bar staff did go round turning the radiators up . We would have stayed longer in the bar if it had been warmer. The second concern was the fact that there was only one waitress serving at breakfast trying to clear tables set tables up and serve tea and coffees. This employee I must say coped very well and calm apologising for the wait . I am aware of the answer to this incident as Unfortunately there were staff sickness and her colleague was sent over to the other side of the hotel to help out but to leave this one waitress to attend to a full restaurant was quite a concern I think she needs some recognition for her service. The food again though was amazing. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its staff and food .

Restaurant is rubbish, not the choice they show on the website.

Duvet cover is like a hybrid of cotton and plastic and is loud when moving.

The rooms are not sound proof, so you hear everyone walking past or talking.

The view is great and staff are friendly, otherwise nothing else going for it.

We purchased 9 tickets to the family nye party. We found our 4 seater table in the claret jug (which is just a bar). The family party was held in 2 rooms the claret jug and 'children's entertainment' was a large connect 4 and snakes and ladders In the function room upstairs, older children were left unsupervised using the large dice to kick and throw around the room. We asked which room the disco was in, the response was their is no disco! The children's food was served upstairs without parental supervision while adults were served downstairs in the doorway.

No thought or effort had been put into this party at all, no decorations balloons etc. I wouldn't call a family party being seperated in different rooms in the hotel!

We managed to speak to a manger who could only apologise. Unfortunately this isnt the end of it and we dont accept your apology. Our nye was ruined! What was advertised did not meet what was provided! We left by 10pm along with many other families.

You should be extremely dissapointed in yourselves!
