Went to the yard and coop with a voucher. Food was lovely I had a wrap with fried and no chicken nuggets (halloumi). I couldnt finish it all as I was stuffed. Staff were lovely very attentive. I had a massive cocktail so after our food we went and sat it the bar area which was really nice. Only thing I would say is I kept sticking to the seats as they were plastic and I had a skirt on. The seats felt a little bit like school chairs. Everything else was lovely and I would defo recommend.

We went here while on a weekend visit to liverpool and Wow the chicken just melted in your mouth it was gorgeous. If you love chicken then this is a must for a night out for food .

It's got a great simple menu and reasonable prices to match . All in all eveything from the staff to the food was very good and really enjoyed would definitely go again when visit the city again .

We ate here yesterday 22 July. It's a fun, quirky place. We sat in a chicken coop. The food arrived quickly and was lovely. We both had chicken breast which was cooked just right. We also had a different sauce each to try, my gf had Bees Knees and I had Korean... we liked both. We also had not chicken nuggets and onion rings to share and the yard salad. There was so much food but we had a good try. We were efficiently served by a nice friendly young man.

The bill arrived in an egg box. A nice fun gesture in keeping with the theme of the place. Loved it and will return.

See an advert on Facebook for the hangover stack it looked fantastic, went in to get it and was not disappointed with the quality. Lovely friendly service and great food.

Never had a bad experience and the foo is amazing. I love it. I love chicken and I have to settle for every weekend but if I lived in town I’d go every day.

I went here for my first time on Tuesday night and I must say i absolutely loved it. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't have long to wait for my food. Good choice of menu, I will definitely return next time i am in Liverpool. I loved the decor too!! ÔŅĹ

I had a fantastic birthday meal at Yard and Coop last night - excellent food, as always, and they even decorated the table especially! Thanks so much for a fabulous evening!

Had tea here tonight with my mum, one of my sisters, my brother and my niece. Food was amazing, staff were lovely. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, very pleasant and quirky. Will definitely be returning with my husband soon.

Had my engagement party here, couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The staff were amazing and made the night amazing, food was gorgeous and everyone complimented the venue!

Great food would definitely recommend coming here, great service and the food so fresh. 1st time been look forward to coming back again soon.

Great food & great service - got told the food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen by the waitress but it wasn't bad at all. Plus it was worth waiting for! Great vibe in there, great service, great food and it's in Liverpool. What more do you need?!

Fantastic restaurant with a well thought out and easy to use menu. Food came fast and fresh with caring, yet not disruptive checks from the staff that everything was to satisfaction. From my first encounter with Aaron at the front door, to my polite goodbyes from almost all the staff, I felt well looked after and everything was smooth and professional. As for the Atmosphere, chilled modern music created a laid back vibe making you feel right at home. Will definitely be going back in the near future and would recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely one of Liverpool gems, and everyone should try it!

Came here 9.02.18 Randomly picked and booked this restaurant for my partners birthday as he is a fan of chicken. Ian not a big fan but Best decision I made. Absolutely amazing quick service wasn't waiting for food long and was busy aswel, staff was lovely esp the women on the reception bit seating people... food was AMAZING and even took a dodgy bag as didnt want it thrown in the bin. Will 100% be coming back to this restuarnt when we next visit liverpool.

Birthday lunch with my family. Never been before, but I'll be going again. Lovely food, helpful staff, quirky surroundings. Thank you, we had a great time.

Ate at Yard & Coop on Sunday 11th March with my husband. Lovely surroundings, really quirky with the retro furniture and chicken coop seating area. We just came across it as we were walking past, everywhere was too busy due to mothers day but this was just right not too full. We were attended to quickly by a lovely waiter ( didn't get his name but he was chinese I think) he was very helpful and friendly as we're all the Liverpudlians we met! We ordered chicken breast with fries and the hot sauce, chicken drumsticks with spicy sauce and dirty fries. The dirty fries were to die for with a gorgeous cheese sauce and the 5 drumsticks were lovely, slightly spicy and sticky YUMMY!! The menu is simple and not over complicated but that's what makes it special. We had a bit of a wait for food but that's obviously because it's cooked fresh and it was nice and hot when it came. My only criticism is that my husband didn't think the scotch bonnet sauce wasn't as spicy as expected, but that's just a personal thing as he has hot scotch bonnet sauce on everything at home, and maybe people wouldn't eat it as hot as he does!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Yard & Coop and will definitely be coming again when in Liverpool. We're going to try the Manchester branch too next time we vlstay there. Brilliant place, brilliant staff, brilliant food!!!

Absolutely loved this place, the food was MASSIVE and so unbelievably tasty. Wonderful selection of beers, our server helped me pick which one to get...even bringing me a taster before I bought. The decor was fab and quirky, the lounge area looked like and actually 70s living room....amazing. I will definitely be going back and would certainly recommend to anyone

We had a very nice experience here. We walked in off the street and were seated at a table straight away by a very pleasant gentleman. The food was to die for even my fussy other half cleared his plate. The staff were courteous and I loved the decor especially the chicken coops !!! We were also pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. Th only let down was the toilets were in a very bad state. The rubbish bin was over flowing and I had to wade through an inch of water to get to them. None the less I will definitely be returning.

Came to the Yard and Coop for the first time on Thursday from Wrexham during #beastfromtheeast and weather back home was awful but I desperately wanted to go to the friends quiz. Service was amazing (big thanks to Kevin) and food was brilliant too. Was slightly let down by the quiz as it wasn’t run smoothly and was aware of cheating which spoiled the fun. Would go again for food but sadly wouldn’t bother with a quiz night again!



Ps - toilets could do with a bit of attention but not a biggie
