Monday morning blues 😴😴

went in for a spot of food and a couple of drinks got the meal deal, ordered two chicken melts . Meal came and looked good hot and enough on the plates young lady who served us the meal really pleasant and polite despite it being mega busy.



Eat the meal and stopped to watch the racing and sky sports football results roll in. overall the place was clean and spacious food good value and beer reasonably priced . Only very slight criticism is that there were only two behind the bar at the peak period at three o clock having said that they dealt with the rush with professionalism and curtesy. A return trip will be made next time we are in preston.

Well, what can I say! My maid of honour and sisters and friends brought me to Yates on Saturday for a surprise cocktail making session for part of my hen do. What a great surprise and amazing service we had from Chris the cocktail man. Great teacher, great fun and made the whole experience one to remember, I was completely spoilt. I recommend any hen party to do this. Plus you get to drink what you make.

Pre cocktails and meal on ladies night out to see show at Guild Hall, refuge from the rain within short walking distance to show. Staff friendly and helpful, easy listening music playing, great atmosphere, food service prompt, was tasty and great value for money. Definitely recommend.

My favourite pub in Preston for afternoon drinking and eating , drinks are reasonably priced food is too and very good , staff are very helpful , i go here often with my brothers and always enjoy my time here .

I luv goin to Yates. I alwaýs go for a drink whether I'm shopping or it's a night out with friends. The drinks are reasonable and staff friendly. I've yet to try one of the cocktails but pink gin is my favourite! Well done. Keep it up �

Been to this Yates a few times both to eat and for drinks, and just wanna say, each time the atmosphere had been great and the food as expected. I've also seen the doorman there deal with a few situations with complete professionalism and only acting upon situations when needed. They're there for a reason and it's reassuring for customers also.

We had food but chicken were hard also the peas!! So not that good

Staff pleasant enough but the beer is over priced and often flat. I had to send back my drink at least 3 times as it was flat. Staff don't know how to pour the drinks correctly and how to resolve the issues

Party of 4. Tried to order food 2 of 4 choices unavailable & was told a long list of items not available. Slow coffee service too. Could do better

Well unfortunately this review won't entail details of any food received as we arrived around 5.20pm with 2 children, staff helpful in giving us colouring sheets and crayons and even pointing out a high chair for the youngest person in our party so knowingly acknowledged us having children, however when we go to order around quarter to 6 we are informed we can't and children "have to be out" by 6pm ..im just wondering if this is a joke the staff always do with people and children to see how long before they have to inform you of this rule not signed posted anywhere ....

Waited 15 minutes for a drink whilst being acknowledged twice as bar staff chatted continuously with a couple, the couple they were chatting to also got up from his seat, to behind the bar to make his own coffee whilst staff talked to the female partner, I walked out with a friend rather parched � fuck ya selves

Coke tasted very bitter went to the bar and to be told it's ment to be like that and wen my meal came out it was a child's potion and the peas looked as tho they had been microwaved didn't bring enough cuterly and when asked they was rude and said they already brought some over

No humanity.. bouncer are rude, they think everyone is drunk on the night out, no not everyone is drunk, some people don’t drink and they come to have good time and enjoy... no respect Yates.. people who goes to Yates just before careful that’s all I can say for knw...

I would rather give no stars came in great atmosphere but when I came to the DJ he couldn't be bothered with a simple request 1 asked him for a shout out and nope then asked for a simple song for my mothers birthday all I got told was popworld was across the street what's the point in having a DJ if they will not accommodate the customers

I was Yates Preston today. Hannah Stewart and I were both disgusted with our visit. I went up to the bar to order us more drinks and the very young girl that served me said she couldn't serve me anymore because my words were (apparently according to her) "slurred" and we'd "already had a few". I don't understand... we were just sat quietly in a corner minding our own business and weren't causing any trouble whatsoever, and my words were not slurred at all. I could understand if we were staggering about and causing disruption, but we weren't! And if I was really that "drunk" this review would be all messed up? Will NOT be back to Yates Preston (the cocktails were horrible anyway �) and I would certainly discourage anyone I know from visiting. So it's your loss at the end of the day. �

I bought fish sweet potato fries and peas. Only 5/6 of the sweet potato fries weren't burnt. The fish was just well done batter. The peas were the only thing on the plate that were ok to eat. It's the first time I've gone out for food and came out hungrier than when I went in.
