We went to the family new years party last night and it was fantastic. A big well done and thank you to the whole team. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves xxx

User

My friend had a birthday party for her little boy upstairs and it was really good was very impress with how the food was all layed out and the staff was all polite and helpful everyone had a good time

User

Me and my daughter called in at Yates yesterday on route to the Pleasure Beach because her feet were aching (and I was ready for a cheeky glass of wine). But we didn't realise she'd left her purse because she'd been on the cranes and bought some slime. It wasn't until we'd left the Pleasure Beach we'd noticed she'd lost her purse with all her spending money inside given to her from her grandma and grandad. I thought it was a longshot but we headed straight back to the pub and to my astonishment it had been handed in!

NEARLY £40 returned and I couldn't thank the staff enough!

Thank you once again for your decency and honesty.

User

Hi there, a crowd of us went there last Friday, for my birthday, it was great, the table was festooned with hats n stuff and very much a party atmosphere. The service was excellent and very attentive. We had Kev looking after us and he was unbelievably efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Great!! music was fab, so its fair to say WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OURSELVES. Thank You Yates.... Kev going the extra mile for us was brill. Carole Van Heerden

Great night out good fun happy staff fun d.j

User

Found this little gem by mistake on a night stroll along Blackpool seafront, we returned the next day in the view of having a cocktail and then moving on... however it was such a great place many cocktails and a Mexican sharer food platter and cookie profiteroles later we left extremely happy and would definately recommend and revisit many thanks to the staff for being so polite

User

Visited on Saturday for a few drinks during the day, was having a really good time until we asked for 2 £15 pound cocktails and the bar maid shook her head at us and asked us if we would order something else because she didn't know how to make it, and when we said no she took 15 minutes to actually make them, when watching her make it she put 1 shot in and filled it with orange juice, so I complained to a manager, and fair enough he dealt with it and brought us two more completely free, we carried on and did have a good day other than than. Thankyou for that. Just need to make sure the bar staff do know how to make all the drinks on the menus🍹

User

Very good, a little tired, ie decor, furniture, carpets etc. Put apart from that a good place to start your night out. Didn't try the food so can't comment.

User

Very friendly staff quick service and good food at reasonable prices only down side drinks more expensive than other nearby places till staff willing too point out best options for food drink saving combos

User

Visited here on Monday 10th July 2017. Pub itself and staff were welcoming. The outside of the pub on the other hand could do with a serious lick of paint! Prices were ok but at £2.20 for a 330ml bottle of water they charged for us to buy for our dog, that was outrageous! Pound shop bottled water or tap water from now on!

User

Sticky tables and bar needed a good wipe down! Eugh!!!

If its like this at 7pm and only about ten people in what sort of mess is it when busy!

On the plus side I ordered food for us and it was lovely didn't have to wait long and mother said it was a lovely cup of tea.

User

food is only served upstairs.

service was poor as there was not many staff.

food was nice considering, not long wait neither, tables could be cleaned more often.

service a little slow, bar could do with regular clean down, seems like the drinks menus were glued to the bar tops. £5.20 for a pint and half of strongbow dark fruits.

User

Not as it was a few years ago ....gone downhill ..in need of a good clean

User

Went in last night hoping for a good night, ordered a vodka lemonade which was £3+ ,was lucky if the glass was half full ,glass was marked with something ,drink prices were absolute terrible ..wouldn't recommend it to anybody ,had my (half a vodka) and went elsewhere ,also tables weren't clean either

User

Was in this run down place yesterday... the staff look as run down as the building as if they are just waiting to die.... the food was crap.. couldn't eat it... I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this pub... give it a wide birth... the other Yates on the other hand is much better... the place looks nice the staff look alive and the food is nice....

User

Not impressed, this place lets the door staff called Brad peep over cubicle walls to watch guys on the toilet. Disgusting and perverted!

User

Food was horrible wouldn’t have put it in a pig sty let alone for human consumption

User

Food poor drinks terrible drity tables not many staff around and the ones that where very busy
