Today we were honoured to celebrate with our oldest customer. Jean is celebrating her 100th birthday on Monday! Many many good wishes. All our customers who were also dining at the time of Jean’s visit also joined in the singing of Happy Birthday. She also told me that when she was in her 20’s, she worked in Yorkshire Fisheries- waiting on! Have a wonderful day on Monday, Jean!!

Anyone leaving Blackpool this morning? You may want to delay your departure. There has been an incident on the M55 and lots of emergency services have been called. Build up of traffic has already started.

Open 11.30- 7pm tonight. Happy bank holiday everyone!

We have received the Quality Award for the 3rd consecutive time! Credit to all the staff for all the hard work and effort in working to achieve this. Some of the assessor’s comments included: “All staff offered excellent customer service.”
“Staff displayed excellent knowledge of food safety and hygienic work practices.....Staff displayed a very high standard of personal hygiene.”
... “The fish and chips served were excellent and very tasty. The batter is probably one of the best tasting and evenly cooked batter that the assessor has sampled.”

Went for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Swift and friendly service from the staff - especially from Ben (thank you!). Food was fresh and lovely. Highly recommend a visit.

We travelled 101 miles on Saturday to Yorkshire Fisheries! Best Fish & Chips anywhere. I have been going here for over 40 years, I remember going as a young child with my Grandma and Grandad. The alterations are fab!

This chippy is still the best , the staff are amazing too -- I just wish I lived a tad nearer -- the extension is lovely --- good luck

Quite simply the best Fish & Chips in Blackpool!! The quality of food and cleanliness is first class, topped off by the lovely warm welcome from Maria and all the team. Yorkshire Fisheries provide an excellent and varied menu at a very reasonable price and is an all round great dining experience.

My husband and I always pay a visit to this great chippy when we are in town. As always we were warmly welcomed, the food was excellent as always. The staff are very friendly and give great service, and it's nice they remember us and Maria always comes across and says hello. It's a pleasure to eat in here and we would highly recommend this great wee chippy

Just had beautiful Haddock and Chips. One of the best I've had in a long time. Was chatting to the owner about a charity I'm involved with and on the way out she gave me a donation, very kind. Lovely staff and cleanliness add to the overall experience.

Food excellent and good value as always however unexpectedly took an age to be delivered to our table. Perhaps the recent extension has overstretched the staff...? Despite this the table service was very good & I would recommend anyone to visit!

Fantastic meal extremely clean premises, friendly efficient staff and great prices and succulent fresh food. 10/10

Excellent fish and chips, had them to take away, only grumble would of prefered them in newspaper like traditional style, rather than polystyrene carton. Food is too good here to be served like that.

Excellent customer service, beautifully clean & simply stunning food. Husband say the best curry sauce he’s ever tasted. A MUST visit if your in Blackpool

Absolutely spot-on from start to finish - the staff were all really lovely, and the food was superb - definitely some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and great service at a very reasonable price.

2nd time going!

Day in bpool.... we knew we was defo coming 4 our tea!

Food was fab... best mushy peas going!

Our waitress was fabulous. Couldn't do enough to help. Warming bottles... warming the babies food. To even cleaning the babies bowl before we left! Was really friendly.

Next trip to blackpool can guarantee we will be in... for fish special!
