Tomorrow is Thornton-le-dale's Annual Show. We will be open from 8am until 5pm both in the cafe and bakery. So if you're feeling peckish then pop along for some home baked delights. From a full english breakfast, a snack or a main meal. The choice is yours.

We had a lovely “four generation lunch”. Underneath the grapevines fab.

We found this place last year after a weekend camping nearby.A great find breakfast was so tasty , dog friendly, lovely little garden out the back.Hope to visit again this year .

This is our favourite cafe in the area. Very friendly & helpfull staff. Great choice of menu for all the family. Tea gardens are an added bonus of being able to sit outside especially if we have our dog with us. Just love all the Homemade cakes & pastries.

They r both fab I have had 2 Christmas cakes and cakes from the bakery one Christmas cake gone my husband Norman couldn't stop eating it absolutely so full of fruit n there cakes bun we're fantastic so many to pick from plus lots of savoury aswell the cafe we eat every time we visit the Vale of pickering the meals r fantastic can't eat them all they r so big wat a plate full would recommend it to any one fab xxx

Lovely lunch. Good selection on the menu. Alwsys well presented. We've called four times in the last four weeks En route to Scarborough and each time its been as good as the last.

Lovely cafe, great food and drink, the breakfast with homemade bread toasted was beautiful. Made milkshakes to takeaway nothing was too much trouble, staff was fan, can't wait to return.

I always try and call here when in the area visiting family. Lovely ( value for money) food, friendly and professional staff and spotlessly clean. Keep up the good work. (Rawdon, Leeds)

Had three lovely breakfasts, lovely place

Had 2 lovely visits this Easter weekend. Been visiting Thornton Le Dale for a few years now & cant believe we've never visited the outdoor tea garden with the dogs before. Love the set up. Your staff were very friendly on both our visits too. Back in summer for two weeks & we will defo be visiting again.

Been coming to Baldersons for years.. Lovely coffee. And especially the ice creams..my parents took us there I took my boys there and now the grandkids go..

Amazing place great homemade food. Lovely garden area. Friendly helpful staff. And shop to buy more for taking home.

A great traditional cafe, great food and lovely staff. One bad thing, takeaway food served in polystyrene cartons eco nightmare.

A good value lovely breakfast. I was particularly impressed to see a vegetarian breakfast with veggie sausages. I would recommend they advertise it on the menu as it's a real bonus!

Lovely place to eat. And dog friendly too which was very nice for my little Patterdale Archie. Will visit again the next time we are back. And i don't usually eat Chocolate cakes. But this is one of the best Chocolate cakes i have eaten from the Bakery side. And the Date slice. Lovely.
