Tried my hand at some low key photography last night. Off camera flash, manual mode 1/32 power, around a metre away. iso 100, f11, shutter 250, self timer.
As you all know, weddings and children are our main focus right now but practice in other areas can only be beneficial in the long run so we welcome any constructive criticism or comments.

Lazy Robin Photography 101. 1) Put your flash in a bush, pointing at a stick. 2) Point your camera out of the window at the same stick. 3) Sit in warmth until a Robin lands on the stick.

Playing around this evening dropping some milk into a bowl of water, backlighting it with a head torch and decorative tree because why not?

Ripon folk! We now have prints for sale in Wrens Shop of Independent Retailers. There's a couple in the window and a display next to the cafe area. :)

Both during the pre-wedding shoot and on our wedding day they made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Our guests were so comfortable with them taking photos they really did manage to capture the pure emotion of the day.

From the minute I messaged James and Sarah they went above and beyond for us with date changes and even location changes to somewhere more accessible for me. They couldn't be more friendly and professional.



Due to my health problems Sarah very kindly helped with my toddler because I couldn't myself. Considering I have a nearly two year old who would just dive into the lake if we looked away for a second, I am AMAZED at the beautiful photos he managed to catch. She definitely isn't an easy child to catch on camera and yet he made it look easy and surprisingly stress free. Best money I've ever spent. The girls just ran and played and they were instantly comfortable with them. By bedtime I was sent a huge collection of photos and the only issue I have is deciding which one I want on canvas!



We will absolutely be using them for all future photos/events. Thank you both!
