Delighted with a couple of winners at Newcastle tonight. That’s 2 doubles in 2 days 😁 well done to all the team. Also massive congratulations to jockey Danny Cook who after riding a winner on Apterix yesterday dashed home to be with his wife Kirsty, who gave birth to a beautiful little girl this morning. Our very best wishes to them both.

Members of Brian Ellison Racing Club enjoyed success again today with Eastern Racer winning for the 3rd time in a month. Well done to Kieran Schofield who gave him a great ride.

Another back to back winner, this time Lucky Robin did the job at Market Rasen under Danny Cook for the members of Brian Ellison Racing Club.

Winx - 26 wins in a row ...what a horse! Wouldn’t mind one of those in the yard!

After winning on Burn Some Dust earlier in the week, Ben Robinson got us back in the winners enclosure again today with another great win on Little Jo, making it back to back wins for both horses. Well done to Ben, owners and all the team.

Great day for the team with an across the card treble. Volvalien kicked it off winning at Bangor under Sean Quinlan, followed by another winner for Brian Ellison Racing Club, with Eastern Racer at Thirsk under Kieran Schofield. The last leg came at Musselburgh with Callum Rodriguez winning on Pea Shooter. Well done to my assistant trainer Jessica Bell who has been doing a great job (as usual) whilst I have been in Galway. Glad the rain has finally stopped here, which will help Baraweez on Sunday, more than I can say about the draw ... 15! Archive also got a bad draw ...17!

The Mackem Bullet earned herself black type status today, finishing 3rd in a Group 3 at Ascot. Not bad on only her 4th start.

Two winners on Tuesday with Burn Some Dust winning at Newcastle, followed by Tallinski at Nottingham, both given great rides by one of our apprentices Ben Robinson, who did the long journey between both courses. Last night, we had another winner for Brian Ellison Racing Club with Eastern Racer winning the first race at Doncaster under another of our apprentices, Kieran Schofield. It’s great to see not only the horses, in the winners enclosure but the young jockeys too. They get their share of grief when they don’t ride well, only right they get the credit they deserve when they do! Well done lads.

Good start to a busy few days with The Mackem Bullet winning at Carlisle. Lots of runners coming up including the 3 days at Newcastle Plate Meeting.
For those of you who like to keep an eye on what goes on via our website, you’ll know it has been having a revamp! Delighted and excited to say we are launching the new one tomorrow at 1.30pm. It is well worth checking out for up to date runners and news.

It’s been a good weekend for the team. Ben Robinson gave Baraweez a fantastic ride to win the feature race at Chester. (It’s a shame the Racing Post didn’t think that it was worthy of a mention in the round ups in Sunday’s paper!) This win for Ben reduces his claim to 3lbs and he is continuing to impress with his career. Today, we were back jumping, with Ballyvic Boru winning his first chase under Danny Cook. He jumped well and made all, and did it in good style.

Well it’s been a good few days for team Ellison 😁 starting with the win at Chester with Baraweez, followed by victory in the Malton Racing Welfare football match ⚽️ where our boys beat Richard Faheys’ team 12-0 to retain the trophy for the 3rd year running 🏆 Today, at Beverley, we had our first 2yo winner of the year, Pearl of Qatar (the first bred by owners Julie & Phil Martin), followed by a win for Moonlit Sands (both ridddn by Ben Robinson) and then across at Sedgefield, Jamacho and Danny Cook gave us our 3rd winner on the day 🍾🍾🍾
