When we come through from Billingham to visit family in Ripon, Brymor is the kids’ (aged 3 to 26) first choice of places to go and now there is the indoor playbarn we stay a little longer!

It was lovely to see the cows back (Plus one disguised as a sheep)!The variety in flavours of yummy ice cream makes it really difficult to choose but thats not a bad thing at all!

Bring back the apple crumble flavour (my favourite)!

The farm shop offers a delightful selection food, drink, sweets and gifts!

What a great little place. Excellent food and very sweet play area for young children.

Went today for the first time with my little boy who is 3, we loved it! There was a bbq and drinks tent on aswell today which was a bonus. The play area is great, we stayed a good 3 hours and my son would have happily stayed longer. Ice cream was lush aswell, we'll be back � x x x

We have been going to brymor for many years with a few generations of the family. You are not part of the family till you have been. Mum and I go there often. Had the Wimbledon special yesterday and again today to due for yummy. This place is well worth a visit bedt ice cream ever.

This is my favourite ice cream parlour!!! Not only does it do the best ice cream I have ever had, but it also does lovely meals made with local ingredients! They also do ice cream to take home so we always stock up when we go!

The ice cream and lattes we had couldn't be better. Friendly staff and great service. The only reason we came is because the Jervaulx Abbey tearooms were closed, and a kind lady explained where it was. Definitely calling again when we come to this area again!

The best place on this earth to buy ice cream. New staff are not as friendly as the old staff but I'm sure that will change in time. Would recommend this ice cream parlour to everyone!

Love brymore ice cream. Well worth the money and so many flavors to choose from. Always busy but that's because it is very popular and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Been a few times now and I have never had to complain

Fantastic food even of you don't want ice cream good selection of sandwiches with local ingredients. Ice cream is fantastic great selection of flavours and you are also able to get a big tub to take home as well if you want.

Brilliant meet up with friend to check out the extended play area! Kids had a blast as we chilled on the sofas drinking coffee! Excellent addition to an already fantastic family friendly place to visit.

Amazing ice cream! Love the fact they do a 'tiny tot' portion of ice cream for the little ones as even a single scoop is too much for them sometimes. Staff were lovely & friendly. Also bought some of the farm produce which was lovely too!

Great little place. Can see the changes since the take over and mostly good. Cafe was quiet but had a long time to wait for 3 bacon sarnies over half an hour. There was a very long queue for ice creams though so think all the staff were dealing with that. Lovely play area .

Great kids Halloween party yesterday definitely worth going to with young kids.



Just make sure you take a drinkforcthen next year as £1 for a kids drink at the event was a rip off. It was a small cup of Tesco pop....that’s some mark up on a 50p bottle of pop...�



May be 50p per cup is more realistic as I appreciate its not run for free.

We used to come to Brymor on a regular basis and loved it - 20 odd years ago. It was very good, vwith banks of freezers holding lots of sizes and flavours of ice cream.

This time I felt it was due a bit of a refurb and update. One freezer only and not filled on a regular basis I would guess.

We travelled 100 miles with a well insulated freezer box etc to take some home with us and it kept the ice cream quite frozen.

I found the prices a bit eye watering I’m afraid.

On the other hand we had very nice sandwiches with lovely brown bread and garnished with crisps and salad - the dressing was especially delicious. The coffee was lovely.

The staff were really good - well done to you on such a hot day!

I think next time we visit we’ll settle with an ice cream at the table.

This is a review for your barn indoor play area. Not a great idea to have wood chip covering the play area floor. My 16 month old grandson fell down and finished up with the wood chip stuck in his hands. The house was coming apart, we tried to put the side back in but no luck. I think you excelled yourself on the wooden structure that looks like a boat. You have a piece sticking out at the front which is just the right height to take a child s eye out. Not sure why the kitchen was there with no play items. All in all possibly the worst children s play area i have ever been in. Your ice cream is delicious.

Firstly the ice cream was spot on .. however I felt i was time warped back to the seventies motor way cafe going by the stained chairs and general cleanliness of the place and from what my guest from the south said about certain members of staff customer service skills left a lot to be desired. Having visited some years ago.. to see the hygiene of the cafe has not improved is disappointing .. the cows are a cleaner .. if only DEFRA could enforce human consumption areas aswell
