Dogs give us lots of very subtle messages about how they feeling. Learn to read your dog's messages so you can help support them if they are feeling fear or stress. This is particularly important for reactive dogs to prevent them from reacting to stimuli.

These critters seem to be rife at the moment! Don't forget to check your dog when you get back from a walk. There seem to be a lot of deer ticks around which are smaller. Use a proper tick remover, don't try and pull out with your fingers or you run the risk of leaving the legs inside your dog which could cause an infection. If you don't know how to remove them yourself please go to the vet and hopefully one of the nurses will show you the correct way to remove.

#Repost @saddle_up_stanners with @get_repost ・・・ Rainy day games - when it’s raining rather then going for a wet walk, try some fun training exercises with your dogs. As you can see @christinespencer5515 (my mum) is using some old place mats in the first video, get inventive with objects in your house! @cscanine

Having had a break from my research project while working on other assignments I am getting myself back on track! I still need another 15 or so dogs to complete my study. I know a few of you have already said you are willing to help so I will be in touch shortly. If you haven't already done so but would like to help please let me know. I will be eternally grateful! It takes about 10 minutes for the first visit on an evening and then 5 minutes the following morning and finally 5 minutes 4 weeks later.
