Careful Keepsakes Description
Hello and thank you for visiting my Facebook page. My name is Michelle Lavender and Careful Keepsakes is my home based sewing / craft business. Located in Teesside in the North East of England, I make handmade gifts and bespoke keepsakes; baby keepsake bunting made from your baby's outgrown clothes, ready-made /other personalised bunting and cushions which can also be made from outgrown /old clothes. I will be expanding the product range more over time.
The business idea was thought of in late 2015 when I was due to receive my last maternity pay. I have always been interested in having my own business and I love being creative. I therefore decided to take the plunge and go self-employed. I hope it will enable me to do a job I love whilst spending more time with my son whilst he is still little. They grow up so quickly!
After several busy months of generating ideas and planning, Careful Keepsakes was launched in March 2016.
