Dalesend Cottages are luxury holiday cottages for couples and have lovely interiors, perfect for a romantic break, anniversary stay or mini-moon. Also ideal for walkers, cyclists and those who love the Yorkshire countryside and dales. Stay 2-4 nights or a week, enjoy local pubs, Yorkshire brewed ales and enjoy the castles and many activities around our cottages. Or relax on our large sofas and light your log burner, let it rain or snow outside!

Waited all winter for this - although inside a Dalesend Cottage is never ‘chilly’ thanks to our log burners. But the pictures here do speak a thousand words of gratitude that - Spring and the Escape To Yorkshire season has arrived . Now is the time to visit York before the crowds.
Staithes unique charm, with its huddled cottages, towering cliffs and choppy sea, has long been a powerful draw for those interested in fine art, geology and getting back to nature. The ‘old village', located in a small, sheltered cove at the base of the cliff, is peppered with small fisherman's cottages- the perfect place to spend a few hours
What's not to love about our wonderful part of the country? Our luxury cottages provide the ideal base from which to explore some of the most magical scenery on offer, and after a day exploring you can rest assured you will come back to the best accommodation.
Once you've picked your wild garlic (responsibly), you'll need some oil, chopped nuts, grated parmesan or pecorino, salt, pepper and lemon juice. A food processor will come in very handy and always season to taste. Try putting some stoned olives in for a great take on tapenade....
