Dementia Forward is launching wellbeing cafes in locations across North Yorkshire. We now have new vacancies for volunteers in Whitby, Scarborough and Skipton, as well as at our existing services in York, Selby, Harrogate, Richmond and Pickering. If you would like to make a difference in your local community, and could welcome people to the group, chat and offer a listening ear, join in with activities or are a dab hand in the kitchen, please get in touch. Big shout out to Berwins who adopted us as their charity - amazing variety of things they are doing throughout the year to support people living with dementia from volunteering every week at our singing group to abseiling down Ripon Cathedral!!
