Our specialist horse rug washing facility provides our customers with a high quality, fast and efficient service. Whether you are an individual horse owner or a commercial business such as training yards and riding schools, our experienced team will provide a caring service, an excellent result and a fast turnaround. We understand your horse rugs are important to you, we know they are valuable and that your horse’s welfare is paramount. We tag every rug with a unique ID from the moment it comes in the door to the moment it is handed back to you, so you can be certain you get the same rug back, cleaned beautifully, reproofed against the harshest weather and where necessary repaired to the highest standards.
Equine rug washing is a very specialized activity and requires proven expertise and a planned purpose-designed facility. All our team are horse lovers and they take an immense pride in the work that they undertake and in providing the best quality horse rug cleaning service in the UK. EA Equi-Rugwash are eco-friendly and strive to reduce our impact on the environment every day. We will dry rugs naturally wherever possible and wash them in cold water but without compromising the quality of the result. Cold washing also ensures that your rugs stay in shape, the same size they came to us and that the seams will not be damaged in any way. We use the latest in insecticides and anti-bacterial washes to ensure that all traces of infection are removed from the rugs so that cross or re-contamination risks are absolutely minimized.
As well as offering a free delivery and collection service within a 30-40 mile radius of Selby, North Yorkshire we also have various collection points from many tack shops and livery yards. We will collect your rugs from various pick-up points throughout the area.
Depending on the number of rugs collected, we can usually wash and return them within a week. Whatever state your rug is in when it reaches us, we'll return it looking almost as good as new. Any rug that needs repairs may take a few more days, but it will be returned to you at no extra cost.
We use Nikwax in all our washing!
Nikwax is recognized in all sport and leisure. When we use Nikwax we know it is safe to You, Your Horse, The Environment and most of all your rugs!

Really good service reasonable prices and the rugs come back like new!! I have one horse who rips my other horses rugs frequently and the repairs I have had done are spot on!! Can't recommend them enough!! They even collected and returned my rugs from my home address and not the yard this time!!

I don't get any horse rugs washed however they wash a horse blanket I've got and I can't fault the company what so ever. It's a very big blanket always come back neatly packed in a bag and smelling lovely ready too put on my sofa. Highly recommend them to any of my horse friends and many more people too. X

Easily the best rug wash service I’ve ever used. Collected from my garden whilst I was out, washed, reprooofed and repaired and dropped off back at my front door in 7 days. Always a fabulous and efficient service. Send my 2 horses full rug wardrobe every year and they always come back looking like new. The bonus is you don't have to drive anywhere with the really convenient drop off service. Super repairs as-well means I have saved ££££££ on not needing to fork out on new rugs every winter.
