left our cat Puddie with furrytails she has been very well cared for, excellent service and miracles she now drinks her water

What an amazing place, my four dogs have just got home from a weeks holiday at Furrytails and have had a ball...they are worn out from all the running around they have been doing in the small Enclosure. Thank you so much Carole and staff, not only for looking after them but also for putting my mind at ease, this was the very first time in five years they have been away from us but I won't hesitate in bringing them back! Huge thank you's all round �� xx

What a fantastic place. Every guest is treated like their own and brilliantly looked after. Your pets won't want to come home. Very highly recommended.

We moved to the area one year ago. We have used a couple of other kennels in the area but were delighted to find Furrytails. Our two Border Collies tug at the lead to get to the kennels--they love it! They both need lots of exercise and it is great to know they are allowed to run free in the paddock about 5 times a day. The best kennels we have come across by far!!

Thank you for our runabout in your lovely paddock en route to our holiday in Northumberland! It was great to let the whole pack run free and you were brilliant with our nervous rescue boy. What a beautiful spot too; the doggies that come to stay with you at furry tails are very lucky pups! Thank you �

Such nice owners who you can tell straight away that your dog is going to be looked after properly. Each kennel is spotless and very large too. Massive high fenced paddock at the rear for safe exercising of your dog too. Thanks Furrytails for looking after our dogs.

Our kitty stayed in the cattery twice and we were very happy with the cozy environment and the warm behavior of the stuff and the owner. They seem to like animals genuinely and that means a lot!

My little Poppy has just spent two wonderful weeks at Furrytails and has returned a very happy, healthy dog. Thank you so much for your excellent care and attention - I think she is going to miss you all! We will be back!!

Massive thank you to Carol and the staff at Furry Tails. We hired the secure paddock to let our two rescue dogs run free as one of them is a flight risk and normally cannot be off the lead and they had a fantastic time. The paddock is great there were loads of balls and toys for the dogs to play with and a little stream running across the bottom of the paddock. Good high fence so even our high jump specialist had no chance of escaping. Fantastic place lovely people and we will definitely be coming back when we visit the lakes again.

Lottie cat had to stay for 3 weeks due to a house move.... Has come back to us in great condition, carol persevered with food for a normally v fussy lady & she seemed to have a genuine fondness for all the animals. Great recommendation, have booked in again for holiday next year. Thank you Furrytails

Just picked Woodrow (Woody) up from his 2 days holiday, first time left.

Woody enjoyed his time at Furrytails, lovely setup and people, very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Great facilities with the paddock to get his ball out and have a run around.

All in excellent, will look to use again

Just collected our kittens Dexta & Fergie from a weeks holiday which they have absolutely loved... they've had a fab time and have been very well looked after, like home from home, wouldn't hesitate in recommending Carol and her staff �

Fabulous kennels cared for my 3 dogs and my son's 2 dogs while we attended a wedding in Gretna over night because we were staying at a CL site in Kirkoswald. So clean and warm and treated the dogs as if they were their own . Can HIGHLY recommend them xx

Chester has just come back off his holidays from Furrytails. He must have had a great time cause he is not sulking with us for leaving him there. Great getting up date photos on FB whilst we were away putting our minds at rest. Chester will be back xxxx

A hidden gem in melmerby, my dogs love it! Massive paddock where they can safely run riot!! Highly recommended �
