Visited today to have highlights (having gone darker last year) and can honestly say my hair has never looked or felt as good as it did when I left the salon today! The staff were ALL amazing and friendly and Michael is an absolute miracle worker. I cannot speak more highly of this salon and can't wait to come back!

Over the moon to have finally found a salon in which I feel relaxed and a stylist who I can trust � Getting my hair done makes me incredibly anxious, especially after some very bad experiences in other salons. However, Sarah was extremely reassuring when I explained this and she did everything to put my mind at ease. Josh was wonderfully attentive; he didn't rush despite obviously being busy. I love what he did with both the cut and colour. Worth every penny � Thank you!

Friendly Atmosphere

Michael has just transformed my daughters hair from a horrible brown box dye to a beautiful blonde, he has also boosted her confidence which she had lost, he made her feel so comfortable can’t thank him enough xx

It was my first visit today at Gallagher’s and I was booked in with Michael for a full hair makeover. I went in with long red hair but my roots had grown out quite a bit & it just looked a mess. Michael did a beautiful balayage and I can honestly say it’s the best colour & hairstyle I’ve EVER had. I went out tonight & got so many compliments. Gallagher’s is now going to become my permanent salon. Thank you so much Michael. You are a hair genius. Oh and I’m totally in love with the style of the salon. French shabby chic. Totally lush � xx

It was my daughters first visit yesterday with kennedy for rootstretch can i jst say this girl was lovely n made my daughter feel so relaxed n really happy with the outcome of her hair shes had so many compliments thank u so much hun we wil defo be back for another apointment xx

I never used to go to the same place for my hair but ever since Michael did his amazing work I have not looked back! My third time going today & it is a great place to go to, the staff are amazing and fab at reminding you of your appointment and helpful to change it! The hair is never a disappointment, always so so pleased with Michael's work and even all the staff washing my hair making chat they are all a really fabulous team �� xx

Today I decided to go for the chop and bleach my hair, something I’ve been wanting to do for a while but always been too scared to do it! Michael is an absolute miracle worker and has given me my dream hair, i couldn’t recommend him enough. Super friendly and professional, felt like he read my mind with what I wanted! So so pleased with the service I received, will definitely be recommending Gallagher’s to others.

Had my first visit to Gallaghers salon yesterday and left with a huge smile! Thank you so much to Alex for my balayage.. finished off with some gorgeous curls, I love it! I was rather scared to go somewhere new as I haven’t had very good experiences in the past at other salons, but I will 100% be returning to Gallaghers for my next hair appointment! Not to mention the lovely staff and refreshments too which topped the whole experience! One very happy customer x

Gallaghers by far is the best hairdressers in the area. I cannot recommend them enough. Tony is a fantastic hairdresser who cuts and styles your hair to perfection. It's a really nice experience when you go into the salon. Everyone is so friendly and you always get a gorgeous cup of coffee. If you want a change of style that's up to date then this is the place to come.

Friendly, good service and laid back atmosphere. I went in with the intention to get a straight cut chin-length Bob style in order to get rid of the old bleached and dyed lower end of my hair as it was starting to break off. Josh quickly understood how I wanted my hair cut and did a quick and an excellent job, considering me being terrible at explaining things verbally.



Nice overview of prices and informations, I also like the fact that Gallaghers are using a Booking feature on their facebook page, which makes it nice and easy for socially awkward people like me who don't really like phonecalls. Overall, I had a nice experience and am very satisfied with my new hairstyle, thank you :)

First time visiting the salon today & it definitely will not be the last. It was fabulous. The staff are so lovely. I left the salon feeling a like a new women. Thank you!! Xxx

Came today for the 1st time and had Michael give me a totally new look which was exactly what I was after. My hair feels in great condition now and I felt at ease in the salon. They use lovely Tigi products, shampoo smelt amazing! I'm really happy with how Michael talked me through what he was doing and asked what I thought throughout (even though I have no idea!) I will definitely be back. Thank you x

Best hairdresser in North East England been going years and would never go anywhere else, gorgeous hot latte or two or three why your getting hair done too no extra charge, if you have never been I advise you give it a try you will not be disappointed � xx ��

Alex created a root stretch and lifted the blonde with a toner love my new hair would 100% recommend thank you so much.

After my hair was left really badly damaged and snapped off due to a salon in Redcar I lost faith in going to any at all and left my hair for months to try and get it a little better in its condition it was my daughter who suggested Gallagher hair salon and I couldn't be more happier with my results Madison worked wonders on my hair and was very friendly and explained to me the damage that my hair was in before correcting it and I'm so happy with the end result it's still got to have treatments on but I now feel more happy in myself all the staff were lovely and friendly and felt like I had known them for a while they were fantastic drinks offered regularly and the trainee apprentice was very jolly and bubbly young girl I will not be going anywhere different again thank you �
