Gmund Cars Description
In 1982 aged 14 a young man called Andrew Mearns used a small inheritance to buy his first VW Beetle for £125. He later went on to sell it in 1987 for £3, 750 – and Gmund Cars was conceived.
Passionate about air-cooled he aspired to own a Porsche and read and collected all he could find on the brand. In 1989, his dream was fulfilled with the purchase of a 1979 Porsche 911 SC, and he was hooked!
Fast forward 30 years, Gmund Cars is now a small but equally passionate team of 5 specialising in the sales and restoration of classic Porsche and Volkswagen Cars. In all that time, Andrew has never forgotten the thrill of the purchase of his first Porsche and strives to ensure that experience is replicated for all who deal with him and his team.
