Today I attended the basic map reading course. My navigation skills are terrible and had no idea how to read a map or use a compass.

The course was a small group which meant Adrian was able to give individual attention to peoples specific understanding needs as well as group teaching. You weren’t made to feel that any of your questions were stupid and he didnt progress forward until he was sure that everyone was at the same stage.

I now feel that I know the basics of map reading, that I can find where I am on a map and possibly locate areas using points of reference although will need to practice what he has taught us. Thank you

User

Had a great time today and finally I understand using a map and compass to navigate, thanks Adrian for a great day
