Getting ready for our simulated game days

What a fabulous morning. Many of us first time ‘shooters’! Mark looked after us brilliantly and even I managed to shoot some clays! I was particularly grateful for his patience and encouragement for my 11 year old son who is now officially addicted. We loved it and will certainly be back. Thanks.

Went there yesterday with a goup from work, I guess intended as a team building exercise (yuk) but turned out to be fun. All the equipment was supplied - guns, ammo and clays, and tea\coffee facilties - required on a very chilly afternoon. There were a number of us who hadn't touched a gun before (including me) but the tuition was great and i was left confident and enjoying the session. For the record i turned out to be quite handy and was in the top 3 from our group - mostly down to the good tuition if I'm honest. We had 3 sessions shooting clays - rabbits ( clays on the ground - probably the most difficult), clays toward the shooter, and clays going way from the shooter. Between these sessions we had a go at air rifle shooting to pass the time. At the end we had a bltz - helper alongside you refillig your shotgun, with 4 clays fired from all directions, and you firing at will at any visible clays. Great fun, and I'd definitely do it again. I asked one of the girls who was involved if she would do it again and she said yes, so the girls had fun too.

Went there on a works do some of us had shoot before some had not instructor was great with all of us showing us how to shoot like a pro all of us had a great time all staff really helpful will be going back soon 👌🏻👍🏻

Went here for my son and husbands birthday. I really wasn't bothered for shooting but I'm so glad I did. The instructor was so nice and helpful and explained all I needed to know. He also identified that the gun my hubby and son were using was way too heavy for me and gave me a much lighter gun. As for hubby and son they were thrilled with their afternoon. Would definitely come again. Try it you'll be surprised how much fun it is. Plus the staff are fab and friendly even if you aren't a seasoned shooter. I thought I would feel a little out of my comfort zone but as soon as we went into the reception I felt very welcomed

Went for the first time shooting. Really enjoyed it. Would recommend to anybody. Thanks for looking after us. They have even got a puppy to keep kids occupied�

Visited the ground last weekend and really enjoyed the birds being presented.

Nice group of people and a lovely atmosphere on the stands & in the club house.

This was something I always wanted to do so as a 50th birthday present from my brother and sister in law I went with my daughter and husband. I didn't expect to hit anything but with excellent tuition I managed to hit quite a few. I was proud of myself. Now my husband and son want ago now. The only disappointment was it wasn't long enough. But i would recommend it.

The place is great, I would recommend to all my friends.

Only been shooting since April and my first visit to this shooting ground, we were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed it �

Not the first time I have shot here but was my daughters first lesson. It's a no brainier that I would consider taking my daughter anywhere else. The instructing staff (Kenny) are second to none. The welcome Mark and Jystine offer is warm and friendly. Mark runs a tight ship and everything is always taken care of. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I would not hesitate to recommend this ground to seasoned and novice shooters alike.

My husband was the one shooting, he really enjoyed the experience and would definately do it again. Shame the hospitality and toilet facilities let this venue down badly. Toilets were disgusting, drink provided on arrival was weak tea which was more like washing up water than tea

Lovely site. Friendly people and atmosphere. Anyone looking take this this sport up will feel relaxed here. I’ve been visiting the site for the past 12 months and I always feel welcome not just by the owners but the people that go to enjoy the sport too

Had a great time shooting. All family loved it. Instructors very patient with me when shooting clays! Highly recommended for a fun afternoon.

Had a great time at the weekend with Mark - very patient and made us all feel really comfortable. We opted for 30 clays each for a little practice, and would definitely recommend that for anyone who hasn't shot before, great introduction to it! We're already planning on coming back for more - Thanks Mark!

Had a great first time shooting today , Nevin was brilliant �

Had a great first time shooting here yesterday and they catered really well for our ages ranging between 12 to 42 years old, Nevin was a great and very patient instructor and will definately be visiting again. i think the comments about weak tea and disgusting toilets are unfounded, the toilets and office were clean for an outdoor pursuit centre, and we were offered the opportunity to make drinks to our own taste!!!

Great way to spend a couple of hours, excellent training from the guys, go on give it a go

Great shoot today. Me and my wife enjoyed a great group shoot with our gift voucher. Next time I would go direct for a booking just to cut out the middle man and have a better verity of times but a great experience nonetheless.

First time I have shot this ground and I loved it! Nice sheltered stands well laid out, friendly and welcoming and a ladies toilet with running water and soap! A real treat from my usual shoots!

Decided to go clay pigeon shooting whilst up here on holiday. My husband had done it once before many years ago and it was my first time. I cannot recommend this place high enough it was raining hard the day we went so instead of doing part clay and part air rifle we done all clay and it ended up being a closely fought contest with my husband winning by two clays. Extremely patient and helpful with the tuition which made the time even more fun.

Brilliant place well worth a visit ... very warm and friendly people indeed.

Booked a group of 5 for my dads birthday. All the staff were very welcoming. Graham our fantastic tutor was very knowledgeable, patients and encouraging. Had an absolute blast, will definitely be returning!! THANK YOU Hazel Bank ���

Amazing staff they couldn't have been any nicer, very welcoming to us as a group who had booked an experience day and even though my son wasn't part of this they even spent time with him and he had a go which he loved!! The guy who lead the group was fab , explained everything slowly and made sure you fully understood everything , at the same time joined in with a laugh and a joke, just brilliant!! The people who were members there already were also so friendly and keen to have a chat and tell you all about their guns etc .

Really I couldn't fault any part of this place so welcoming to all ages, and if I lived nearer I would definitely book to go back there !!!!
