Our top field is now available for private hire, with all new facilities. Perfect for family get-togethers, or, for ultimate peace and quiet. See website for details.

We are proud to announce the arrival of 3 boy calves, now settled in a field nearby. Appropriate name suggestions welcome!

Kettlewell duck 🦆 race. Very exciting for all concerned!

Delivery for the top field. Some may say the lorry is half full. Some half empty. I say the lorry is just inappropriately sized for a delivery to a Yorkshire Dales village campsite. It's a good job we have a local A-team. Cheers guys.

User

Building work well under way for the new facilities on our top field. This field will be available for exclusive hire from the end of May.

Only four more days of scarecrow week! Don't miss out it finishes on Sunday!

User

Lovely atmosphere by the river today. Great weather too.

User

Our scarecrow is ready for tomorrow. It's scarecrow week in Kettlewell over the next 9 days. Lots to see around the village and the village hall is serving lunch, cakes and drinks all week too. 😀 Fingers crossed for good weather x

Why not try catching Crayfish in the river Wharfe. This is an interesting article about these American invaders. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/…/How-do-you -get-rid-of-invasive…

We've definitely found another campsite in this one that is worth coming back to again and again.

The site is set within the village of Kettlewell, which has a garage, post office, youth hostel, convenience store, tea Room and three pubs. It is also surrounded by stunning views and the site itself is next door to a little church.

I'll get the only slight negatives out of the way now...

The church bell goes off every quarter of an hour, but it usually only chimes once and it isn't that loud...

Also, the on site WiFi doesn't actually reach your tent unless your right next to the blocks.

Other than that. The site it's self is on a very slight slope, but it is barely noticeable. Along the outside walls, there are loads of electric hookup pitches. Wherever your pitched, you should be close enough to the point to not require an extension.

The facilities are utterly spotless. They are modern and warm, with underfloor heating. They seem to be sized about right as we're here on Bank holiday weekend and there isn't too much of a problem getting showered and washed etc quickly.

You can hire pits for a fire if that's what you're into and there is a fridge and freezer on site that is free to use.

Your about 30 mins out from Skipton. I'd also recommend Grassington and Pately Bridge which are lovely little villages with pubs and tea rooms and the like. Stump Cross Caverns is also really close by and is recommended.

All in all, a fantastic site in a brilliant location and one we'll be coming back to again in the future.

Thanks Kettlewell Camping!

We had the private field all to ourselves, which was great for such a large group with lots of children. Wonderful showers and lovely clean loos. Made use of the benches and firepit. Looking forward to next year xx

User

Very good campsite - free hot showers, toilets, 2 phone charging points in the bathroom (UK socket), dish washing room, spacious tent allotments, paid £21 per day for us, 2 adults with a car and a tent, free WiFi across the campsite (password in dish washing room), the campsite became pretty crowded the next day of our stay, more families were arriving with kids and dogs, I guess because it was a public holiday, also there is a nice cycling/walking route from Kettlewell campsite to Grassington with scenic views on the way, would recommend it

User

The location was superb; quiet (apart from the church clock chimes ;-( ), an easy walk in to the village with three excellent pubs, all serving good food. I thought the site facilities here were excellent, clean and heated toilet/shower block and pot wash room with fridge/freezer facilities. We received a warm welcome on arrival, with helpful local information provided.

User

Simply superb! Probably the best site in the dales. Kettlewell Camping is a flat grass campsite right by the village church. It has immaculate facilities ( fire pit hire, free wifi, washing up and a super clean modern shower/ toilets block) run by the most hospitable and welcoming family you could meet.

The campsite is set within the majestic limestone landscape and has stunning views. Beautiful Kettlewell is a 2 min walk and has all you need- tea shops, garage, 3 pubs and a cracking little village shop.

Thank you for a memorable weekend. we will be back.

User

Lovely well kept family camp site with great facilities and a relaxed atmosphere set in a stunningly idyllic location. The drive up is an absolute pleasure, the river wharfe flowing down the valley, the pubs, people, shops open for an early coffee all made this a camping trip to remember can't wait to get back up there and explore more of the countryside! Thks

User

Lovely site with good facilities although site was busy when I arrived it was still very quiet. Only minutes from the village, don't take shortcut through churchyard if it is wet as path can he muddy. Three pubs all with good beer and a good variety of meals.

Having read other comments would say the church bells are not that loud, not all the site is on a slight slope but I find it can help with positioning your bed if it is.

My pitch was furthest from the office block and WiFi signal was good.

Plenty of walks either along the river or in the surrounding hills.

Pricing considering the facilities was very good.

Would I return, yes will be back again next year.

User

Just spent 6 days on the site and would recommend it greatly to campers. The wash blocks were the best I've come across, cleaned regularly and spotless, showers were the same with constant hot water.....friendly owner and stunning views....only complaint was the rain but I guess that can't be controlled...oh and the foul mouthed farmer next door. The church bells where an added touch but not every 15 mins through the night!!! Glynn and Debs

User

Hidden away off the beaten track you do really feel at one with nature, but the icing on the cake is the village amenities!!!

Three excellent pubs which serve amazing food, a tea room, post office, a conscience store & if you feel like giving a little thank you for all this to the guy up stairs a church!

The site itself also offers amazing facilities clean & up todate shower blocks eith hair fryer & washing facites, a place to wash the pots a fridge a freezer & wait for it a high speed WI-FI connection!

Hope you enjoy your stay as well as we did!

User

Great site in the heart of Kettlewell. Our first visit and we loved it. The shower block is great and very well kept. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this site.

User

Great location and excellent facilities. Fire pits for hire, three pubs within 100 metres, great cycling right from the site.

Highly recommended

User

Great campsite - very relaxed, lovely for families, well maintained, immaculate shower block with excellent amenities and plenty of hot water and fire pits for hire. The village is literally a minute way, with 3 cracking pubs, ice cream parlour, tea rooms - everything you need really. Will definitely be returning - thanks Kettlewell Camping

User

Gorgeous little campsite tucked away but in easy access to the village. Campsite and facilities kept immaculately clean. 5 stars all round

User

First visit here and absolutely loved it. After paying the same per night on a previous site which wasn't a patch on Kettlewell. Superb facilities, lovely friendly ambience and the best view ever to wake up to. Definitely worth a revisit.

User

Fantastic shower facilities and pot washing area. Heated floors in the showers with hot water available 24-7. Fire pits available to hire with smoke free eco friendly logs. Great spot with great walking all around. Tents and small campervans only. Lovely relaxing site where you will not be surrounded by huge white touring caravans! Five ⭐️ 👌🏻😀

User

Excellent site close to the village.Toilet and shower facilities very clean and and checked regularly. Well worth a visit for one night or whatever your needs are. Views and backdrop are to die for.

User

After my family had been before and raved about it I had too see what all the fuss was about. A great site with fantastic facilities and not overcrowded. A lovely host who was welcoming and accommodating. We will most certainly be back again. Close to the village and surrounding walks.

User

A perfect campsite ..perfect village ..arrived in the dark campsite manager very nice ..the view next morning was stunning ..nice walks ..nice little brook to walk by ..clean modern shower block and you can hire fire pits ..we will be back for sure

User

Small and very expensive site £26 per night toilet block was very nice but not adequate for the amount of people staying. Close to the village which is the best thing about it
