Finished Joes temperature blanket on time for his 1st birthday yesterday, he had a great day and a delicious chocolate cake 🧁❤️ thanks to Kt for going above and beyond yesterday👍 I’m here until 4 today but moving slowly due to all the food I’ve consumed! Right-needles out, get back into it! Hope you’ve all had an amazing time😘

Our last day open before Christmas-I’m sooo excited to have 5 days off!!(were open Thursday but Kt is holding the reins!) Just want to say a huge thank you to you all. I’m so lucky to have you as customers, I love your support local ethos-that’s what keeps me open.

Joanna’s just finished this beautiful jacket in Rowan, just inspired me to crack on with temperature blanket then I can pick my colours to knit it too!

Taken delivery of more WYS socks after a lovely gentleman bought all of ours for Christmas gifts-well they are the best!!!!!

I knitted this hat as a Christmas prezzy for our Katie but she popped in recently and was admiring it so she asked if she could have it early! The pattern is free in a booklet when the yarn is purchased-Rowan Valley Tweed

Well I had no idea! One of our lovely customers informed me this was in the Knaresborough Post! Bright Friday was fabulous, great atmosphere. Knaresborough is such a special place ❤️

What a gorgeous little wool shop and a lovely owner! I made a point of looking for this on our trip to Knaresborough today and was not disappointed. A great selection of yarns, as well as lots of lovely hand made items, especially loved the wreath and the skeleton with his heart.

I got exactly what I was looking for too, 2 beautiful skeins of hand dyed yarn, perfect.

What a delightful find....just getting back into knitting and found this lovely shop whilst browsing about in Knaresborough now find myself with an exciting project. A huge thank you to Diane for chatting and helping with my questions. I will definitely be back and would recommend you stop by and take a look :-)

Visited this store a few times when I was working in Tadcaster is was fabulous we don't have store like this in Edinburgh. Love the fact that they post patterns on line bought wool and the pattern for the unicorn can't wait to try and knit it.

Very lovely, friendly and helpful every time. The shop is very homely, cosy, quirky and interesting and I love going to visit. I always find what I need (and what I don't!) and the ladies are very knowledgable. Much recommended

This is such a lovely place. This was my second visit following a gap of around 6 years - we were on holiday both times. The selection of wool is amazing but more than that, the lady who runs it is very knowledgeable and happy to show various different options and patterns you could use. I shall enjoy making my WYS laceweight shawl. She also takes great interest in people making them feel they can confide in her and after my first visit she helped to convince me to finally get the dog I had been thinking of getting - a rescue greyhound of course! Thank you for all your help and making it feel very natural to come back after 6 years to tell you about Sid xxxx

This is a great store, they have a fantastic range of patterns, yarn and buttons. I have to say di was so friendly made me feel like we had known each other and not just a customer. It was also lovely to see her displaying the items she has knitted with wool from the store. I live in Devon but will not hesitate to buy wool from di and have it mailed to me. Thank you for being so friendly x x

Fantastic shop with so many different yarns! It's impossible to walk out without having purchased something! Diane is so knowledgeable, always willing to help with advice, knitting/crochet groups, tips and project ideas! This shop is wonderful . .especially for those who love making beautiful things out of beautiful yarn!

Fantastic friendly shop with very helpful staff who'll go the extra yard for you.. There's often other knitters just sitting and crafting in the cosy seats who can also offer advice and encouragement. Lovely finished garments to provide inspiration. Great tardis of a shop

Happened to stroll past yesterday all the way from Derbyshire, so so friendly and what a sense of humour!!!

Highly recommended, I'll definately be back. I wish I lived closer for a 'regular fix'.
