Lancashire Game And Country Festival Description
Welcome to the website for Lancashire’s first Game and Country Festival, taking place at Scorton on 9th and 10th September 2017. This exciting new event will showcase many aspects of the local game industry – including shooting and fishing and gundogs – as well as attracting some of the top sporting brands and leading industry bodies. The festival will feature countryside crafts, artisan food stalls, clever gadgets, top technology and lots of other fun things to buy.
Attractions will include hound and gundog displays, clay pigeon shooting, ferret and terrier racing and fishing demonstrations. A huge range of clothing and sporting-related stalls will be joined by rural activities, great festival food and a fantastic atmosphere for a real countryside day out for all the family.

Application forms for a trade stand for 2019 are now online and we will be posting forms out to our regulars before Christmas. Hope to see some new faces there!

Well that's another year over! We had a great show despite some very difficult weather conditions on the Saturday. Sunday's crowds made up for it and everybody had a great time. Thanks to all that took part and to all our traders and exhibitors. Particular thanks go to our brilliant stewards. Next year's dates are 7th and 8th September, we will be back!!

Don't forget that we have entertainment on Saturday night at the game fair with live music in our fantastic beer tent from local lad Will Procter and a DJ to keep you all entertained on the last outdoor party night of the year!!
With just over a week to go, set up is well under way! The ground is in great condition, the arenas are being knocked in and the marquees are going up!

We are excited to have the Little Nippers Terrier and Lurcher Racing display at this year's game fair in just 3 weeks. The public will be invited to "have a go" and take their own dogs into the main arena!
