Hi I am starting a small business based at home. i provide mainly laser hair removal through IPL and SHR. Through these two laser i tailor treatment to individuals giving the client permanent results. An initial patch test and consultation is required to determine the clients skin type.
Then a detailed medical history is required.
I try to keep prices as low as possible mainly covering overheads to ensure my business is open to all people.
All safety procedures are complied with and will be run through with the client as well as a aftercare leaflet given.

IPL provides fast, non-invasive hair removal. It works by sending out high-energy light pulses. There are actually two beams of light, one yellow and one red, which together affect both the existing hair and the follicles where the hair grows.

IPL works best at removing hair when it’s in the active growth phase. But not all the hair in the treatment area will be in this phase at any given time. So I spread my IPL treatments out over a period of time. This is to make sure that hair which isn’t treated in one session is affected in the next. The way hair grows is slightly different for everyone, so I tailor my treatment to suit you.

it is advised not to expose the target area to the sun or use sun beds for at least four weeks before your treatment also 2 weeks after treatment due to the risk of pigmentation.

To sooth your skin Aloe Vera Gel will be applied immediatly after treatments and hence is recommended to be used after treatment at home as well as a sunlotion factor 30.

Treatments are conducted in privacy and a privacy form will be giving at the end of treatments to ensure clients are comfortable with their treatment.

There may be some redness and swelling after the treatment but this usually only lasts one or two days. Sometimes there can be an increase or loss of pigmentation (colouring) in the skin. In a very small number of cases the skin’s texture may change slightly. IPL very rarely causes scarring.
