Level 2 Furniture Painting Workshop Techniques A Creative and fun workshop designed as a follow on from the basics of level 1 . If you have attended a Level 1 workshop , Or have a good basic understanding of furniture preparation , painting , finishing and some experience painting furniture , this workshop is for you !
... During the day we will have a quick recap of the basics of preparation and the colour wheel , then we will explore different painting and distressing techniques including “frottage” (sounds posh but it’s a great effect using newspaper ! ), Crackle Glaze and Decoupage , also how to use different waxes to create light , shade and age , all using a fabulous range of products . Finally we will cover staging , photography and tips on how to make the most of your fabulous creations should you want to present and sell your pieces or just make them look their best in your home. This is the day to bring out your artistic creative side !
£20 deposit secures you place payable by cash , card or PayPal , redeemable against the full price of the workshop @ £110 Everything is provided on the day , including a light lunch and all the tea coffee and biscuits you can consume ! , you won’t need to bring anything. However if you do have a particular small piece you would like to bring along to Paint please do so .
