CSS Mid Tier Deadline
The deadline to request CSS Mid Tier Packs (including Water Capital only) and request Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer (CSFO) endorsement is soon looming. Basic Payment Key Dates & more With only 5 days to go until the Basic Payment Scheme application deadline, we hope that the majority of our rural clients have submitted their application or have one of our rural team members with it in hand. Although we do not advise any changes after this deadline, the Rural Payments Agency offer an extended deadline to 31st May to make any changes to applications already submitted. And for any of you (fingers crossed, none) who managed to... miss the 15th May deadline, there is an extended deadline for late BPS applications or late amendments to 10th June, but this will incur penalties. On a lighter note, 30th June brings the end of crop diversification ‘cropping’ period and the end of Ecological Focus Area periods for fallow land and Nitrogen Fixing Crops. And 31st July see’s anyone within an NVZ for the first time in 2017, must now meet all the NVZ rules.
