Busy farmers market and plenty of regular stallholders here as well. Come along between 12-1 / 1.30-2.30 and hear lovely songs from Zeke Deighton while shopping and maybe grabbing some lunch at Bordar House Teas, Masham or Johnny Baghdad's.
(Zeke's also bringing his show about a 1950s Yorkshire childhood to Masham Town Hall on 30 October...) https://www.facebook.com/events/292389178 009117/

Cracking morning for the Farmers Market! Home-made and home-raised yumminess along with a selection of our regular market stalls. Why not stay for Sunday lunch in one of MashamŌĆÖs lovely pubs or cafes?

User

If anyone has any info please message us, thank you

This lovely weather is due to continue for a good week, so why not plan a trip to Masham next weekend. Our town is full of handsome buildings, interesting walks for all levels of fitness, delicious food and drink... and of course our 767-year-old market gpoing strong. This Sunday sees the Northern Dales Farmers' Market as well with the best homemade and homegrown yummies from the region!

From Wood Fired Pizzas : ProperPizzas - please offer feedback if you can.
Afternoon.
Just a thought....
... ....if we were to come each Wednesday to the market and stayed back a while............
Would anyone look to buy Pizzas for tea???
We do a regular evening elsewhere......we could do a regular Wednesday in Masham....if there was enough interest and people would like us to???
Any thought????

User

Went to the cafe in the square and had one of the best bacon and sausage sandwich I have ever eaten highly recommended we went there after we went to the black sheep brewery

User

Very nice place will be giving the breakfast a go next time it looked lush

User

This was our second year and we love it. Lots to see and do. We particularly like the atmosphere which is relaxed. Everyone in the area seems to get involved including the young ones. We bought lovely local cheeses, pork pies, chutney and jams and enjoyed a drink or two!!

My visit to Masham market on this occasion was for the purpose of seeing the steam engines going on display in the market square. It attracts lots of visitors and the local cafe generally stays open till they depart which is around 9pm. There are a few market stalls allowed to stay on the site also which is a new attraction to ponder over while viewing the engines. The market square is also home to , what they claim to be, the largest sweet shop in the world, selling retro and modern confectionery. Its a quaint little place day and night , well worth a visit.
