Say hello to Vicky! Our new team member, studying towards her Canine Hydrotherapy Certification.
Vicky qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2013. She has been working in both first opinion and referal small animal practice since then, and continues to work at a local practice.....some of you may recognise her? 🧐... She then decided to extend her knowledge into the equine field, completing Bsc (hons) Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation. Now continuing to develop rehabilitation interest through canine hydrotherapy and musculoskeletal therapy in dogs.
Her hobbies include horse riding and walking her black lab. Welcome to the team Vicky!

A big welcome to Kate Maguire to the Operation K9 team! Kate qualified as a Canine Hydrotherapist in 2018 at Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy Training Centre. She has an honours degree in Animal Science (Behaviour & Welfare) and has had an exciting career with a diverse range of species across the country. Kate also works at Askham Bryan Agricultural College in York as lead instructor-keeper. You will see Kate on a Friday and for holiday cover.
... She is a full member of National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists.

Happy Father’s Day to the doggy daddies out there 🐾

We are very excited to have Sally Anderson FdSc ACBT Canine Behaviourist & Trainer on board with our new initiative to help dogs get the best from their treatment.
We know how difficult it is to follow the restricted exercise instructions from us and the vets. We see lots of young, boisterous dogs who have life-limiting conditions, and the better these are managed the longer they can leave a happy life!
Sally Anderson will help you, in your home, to manage the world around y...our dog, and behaviours that don’t help the condition they are being treated for.
If we see a dog weekly for therapy, we don’t want all that work being undone by the dog pulling on the lead for the rest of the week or racing up and down the stairs!
