Did you know that you can help your young baby's development with simple multi-sensory activities: - Tummy Time - can help develop stronger neck & abdominal muscles which are essential for crawling. - Gentle lights are great for strengthening eye muscles & eye tracking, which helps to build essential connections in the brain. - Baby massage is known to help blood pressure, heart rate & circulation. Plus it releases growth hormones and increases your baby's self awareness.
... Our wonderful Young Baby Course is coming to Sowerby in September. Classes will be on Wednesday mornings at 11.30 at the Orchid House Community Hub (just opposite the new Aldi).

Just getting our dinner ready and realising I haven’t done anything for me and the hubby, this sounds about right for tonight....🙈

Wonderful glorious music! Did you know music is CRUCIAL to language development, and it is the ONLY activity that stimulates both sides of a baby's brain? By using both sides at the same time, the brain establishes important connections across the hemispheres. The more connections we have, the faster we are able to think! AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter has been going to rhythm time since she was a few months old. Now at a year old she still loves going (as do I) and absolutely adores Jenny who is fab at what she does!

User

I've been taking my granddaughter to this class since I started Granny Nanny duties last year. I honestly don't know who enjoys them most. I do know that we are both smiling all the time and my granddaughter is showing a love of music and dancing that my daughter never had at this age. Thanks Jenny - your class is a fabulous experience that I get to share with her. I feel very lucky. I just wish Rhythm time was around 30 years ago.

User

I've been taking Mirryn to the Thirsk class from around 6 weeks old and she absolutely loves it. I find that when I sing the songs at home she settles instantly x

User

I started taking my little boy to these classes at just 8 weeks old, after doing similar classes with my first baby. We love them! The right mix of music and activity for even the littlest babies and Jenny is absolutely fab
