This is an excellent base whether you want to relax and enjoy the river views from the living room bay window, dine on the patio, go cycling or for walks. This is a bird watchers paradise with a multitude of birds visiting the garden and riverbank. Climbing, fishing, sailing and horse riding opportunities are also nearby. This means whatever your age, capability or interest there is something for you.

Beautiful morning by the river.
Finding the right builder for our extension is not proving as easy as we thought. This means that we are delaying the start date and Riverside is available for bookings until the beginning of October. Please share the news :)

If you are in Grassington this evening don't forget it's Movie Night with The Grand Budapest Hotel at 7.30pm at the town hall.
I had a lovely swim at Long Ashes Leisure Club followed by a facial and back massage. The club is just a mile up the road from Grassington. You don't have to be a member to enjoy the fab facilities. There is usually some sort of Spa day offer. Have a pamper day as part of your holiday.
It was great to see over 30 people enjoying Sunday lunch at Grassington Congregational Church this week.
Great to see the latest Pantaloons production at the town hall last night.
Lois yet again led a brilliant dance/exercise class in the village. Anyone can go..so if you are visiting Riverside or River View join in the fun at 6.30pm or 7.45pm on a Thursday..
We are really excited that Sykes Cottages will be taking Riverview onto their books from mid April.

Really excited to have started the Forever Clean 9 programme with Steve today. Day 1 hasn't been as hard as I expected, although I have been really busy getting River View ready for new guests. Already feeling the benefits of drinking more water :)
Western Champion from Birmingham to Canterbury. Santa special near Grimsby and York railway museum, all in one week. Steve says I'm a lucky woman :)
