Welcome to our Facebook page. RSF is a charity which supports families of children, young people and young adults with disabilities, additional needs and illness in Ryedale, North Yorkshire

Rsf Description
Ryedale Special Families (RSF) was established as a charity in 1997. It initially supported families of children with disabilities, illnesses and special needs. That support took the form of four main elements, information, advice and guidance, social groups for all ages of children and young people, respite care and family activities.
Since then it has developed a model of support which is recognised as an example of good practice by professionals and parents across the region. Being run by parent trustees the charities development has been very focused on meeting families’ needs.
In 2017 RSF re-registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation no. 1170988

An amazing challenge completed for RSF by four local ladies - all getting RSF closer to our target of buying our new home
Our next family activity is a trip to William's Den, near Market Weighton. Sunday 23rd June It's an adventure attraction with indoor and outdoor play. William's Den is accessible to all and there is lots of information on the website about facilities there. The cost is £7 per person, with essential Carers going free.... Please message RSF if you want to book a place. Transport can be provided for those without any.
